A combination of elements and New Zealand scenery

💃We had more time in Christchurch and Canterbury, so we planned a one-day round trip and chose Akaroa, the town where the French crew landed in Canterbury. The scenery is very New Zealand-style, clear blue, and mainly has an exotic feel🇫🇷. 🚕🚕🚕Travel through time in France It takes 85 minutes to drive from Christchurch to Akaroa. This French town on the volcanic peninsula is centered on Rue Lavaud. It is full of blue and white colonial-style buildings. French road signs and cafes exude the Parisian atmosphere of the southern hemisphere. The first stop is St. Patrick's Church. The wooden spire and stained glass windows combine Gothic elements. The exterior wall changes color with the seasons, as shown above☝🖼 Port town 🇫🇷French flavor ⛵️⛵️⛵️Order a freshly fried cod with Lindauer white wine at the Akaroa fish and chip shop next to the pier. After dinner, I strolled along Beach Road. The shops with red roofs and white walls and the flower gardens were refreshing. However, the road was under maintenance, so there was a lot of traffic when driving. 🌊🌊🌊Coastline and artistic wonders It takes only 5 minutes to drive to Akaroa Lighthouse. The pure white tower and red gate form a classic harbor scene. Climb to the top of the tower to overlook the half-moon-shaped bay formed by the crater.
