Abu Simbel is such a beautiful and unforgettable place.

#ThailandAirlineEvent This is a review of a private taxi ride from Aswan to Abu Simbel. We were picked up in front of the hotel at 4 AM and set off. It was still dark so the roads were deserted, and the sky was full of stars, so the atmosphere inside the car was quite emotional. The taxi was a spacious SUV and the driver was kind, so I wasn't too tired even though it was over 3 hours. There were a few checkpoints along the way, but I didn't have to worry because this is a common thing in Egypt. When we arrived at the Abu Simbel Temple, the sunlight swept across the temple walls, and that scene was so intense that I can't forget it. The huge stone statues of Ramses II, and the elaborate reliefs and colors inside you have to go and see them in person to really feel the scale. Choosing a private taxi instead of a group tour was a stroke of genius. I was able to quietly appreciate it without people, take as many pictures as I wanted, look around slowly, and enjoy it leisurely without time pressure. Although the travel time is long, the private taxi ride to Abu Simbel was worth it. It was a day you must do when you come to Egypt. Location: Abu Simbel, Egypt
