Trip to Aarhus 🇩🇰

It was a trip to Aarhus, Denmark. Just want to share my itinerary that I’d highly recommend🙌 I started the day at the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, where I explored the vibrant contemporary art exhibits. The highlight for me was the "Your Rainbow Panorama," a colorful circular walkway offering panoramic views of the city. It's a perfect spot for both art lovers and photographers 📸 📍 Aros Allé 2, 8000 Aarhus 💰 Around 160 DKK for adults. I loved wandering through Den Gamle By, an open-air museum that takes you back in time to the 16th to 20th centuries. Walking through the cobblestone streets and historical buildings was like stepping into a different era. I also recommend visiting the bakeries for a taste of traditional Danish pastries 🥐 📍Viborgvej 2, 8000 Aarhus 💰Around 150 DKK for adults. If you are looking for somewhere good for dinner, I would suggest you to try Mefist. It’s is a seafood restaurant where I had some of the best mussels I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. 📍 Volden 28, 8000 Aarhus 💰 250-400 DKK per person. I also spent a tranquil morning at the Aarhus Botanical Garden. It's a beautiful spot with diverse plant collections and a greenhouse that showcases plants from around the world. A perfect place for a morning stroll or a picnic 💐 📍Møllevejen 10, 8000 Aarhus 💰 Free. I also explored the Moesgaard Museum and found it fascinating, especially for those interested in archaeology and anthropology. The exhibitions on Viking culture and ancient Denmark were particularly captivating. 📍 Moesgård Allé 15, 8270 Højbjerg 💰Around 140 DKK for adults. For dinner, I’d recommend Restaurant Substans, a Michelin-starred restaurant where I had an unforgettable dining experience. The tasting menu focuses on local, organic ingredients, and every dish was a work of art 💯 📍 P. Hiort-Lorenzen Vej 1, 8000 Aarhus 💰 700-1,200 DKK per person. I also took a leisurely morning walk around the grounds of Marselisborg Palace, the summer residence of the Danish royal family. Although the palace itself isn't open to the public, the surrounding gardens are a lovely place to relax. 📍Kongevejen 100, 8000 Aarhus 💰 Free #europetrip #vacation #trip
