Aalborg Denmark

Aalborg Denmark is a port city in the north of the Jutland Peninsula in Denmark. It is the capital of Nordjylland and faces the Limfjord. It has a population of 155,000 (1983). It is one of the oldest cities in Denmark. It was founded in 1342 and has industries such as steel, shipbuilding, cement, chemicals, textiles and food. It has the Christian IX Floating Bridge (580 meters long) across the narrow waterway connecting it to the city of Norresundby. Unlike the exquisite towns in southern Denmark, the scenery in North Jutland is wild! It is like an island full of miracles, carrying countless wonders of Denmark. Where is North Jutland? North Jutland Peninsula is the northernmost part of Denmark. It is separated from the Danish mainland by the picturesque Limfjord, which winds northward into the sea.
