Xianyou | Jiuli Lake → Jiulong Valley The road from Jiuli Lake to Jiulong Valley is downhill. We drove through the thick fog of the Zong San Line and entered Jiuli Lake. We saw the waterfall (the water flow was a bit small)! We saw Baofeng Temple! We saw the Jiuzhaigou of Putian! We arrived at Jiuli Lake at 9:00 and left Jiulong Valley East Gate at 16:00. We were lucky to get a ride back to Jiuli Lake Scenic Area. If you enter from Jiulong Valley and want to visit Jiuli Lake, it will be uphill all the way, and you need to plan your transportation in advance. Jiuli Lake ticket is CNY 49, and Jiulong Valley ticket is CNY 19. Both Jiulong Valley and Jiuli Lake Scenic Area have sightseeing buses. The buses 96/98 from Jiulong Valley East Gate can take you to Putian Bus Station. The bus 662 from Xianyou to Jiuli Lake only goes to Zhuoquan Village, and you need to walk 3 km to the scenic area. If you plan to hike on weekends, be sure to prepare in advance.

When I came to Xianyou for work, a local friend told me I had to try the signature danzai noodles and qiang meat at this shop, and the wheat pancakes are also a must-try... The wheat pancakes have a milky flavor, are slightly oily and sweet, and are soft and glutinous. The danzai noodles have a delicious broth and chewy noodles, and the Xianyou version has meat, shrimp, and chicken drumsticks, all in a big bowl. Qiang meat is a Putian specialty, and this shop doesn't use bean sprouts or chives, but instead uses cabbage, celery, and tender meat slices and tofu balls, which are really delicious.

- Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda, also known as Toudou Pagoda or Qingluo Pagoda, is located on Toudou Mountain in Fengting Town, Xianyou County, Putian, Fujian Province. The pagoda is 7.4 meters high and 5.1 meters long, with a solid stone structure and five square layers. - Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda was first built in the Five Dynasties. In the fourth year of Jiayou in the Song Dynasty (1059 AD), Cai Xiang, a scholar of the Duanming Hall in the Song Dynasty, rebuilt the pagoda.
