Warmth: The Little Joys I Found at Wushe Yuexiang Hotel
As a seasoned traveler who has been active on Ctrip Travel Photography for a decade, I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels. Yet, only a few have left a lasting impression on me. Wushe Yuexiang Hotel in Tangshan is one of them.
I first learned about this hotel through a friend’s enthusiastic recommendation: "You’re going to Tangshan for business? You must stay at Wushe Yuexiang! The rooms are spacious, the sunlight is great, and the service is impeccable." Intrigued, I decided to book a night.
I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, expecting the front desk staff to be somewhat indifferent at this hour. To my surprise, the receptionist greeted me warmly: "Welcome! It must have been a tiring journey. Your room is ready, and if you need anything, feel free to let us know." I smiled and shook my head, but mentally, I had already given the hotel a point.
Opening the door to my room, I was pleasantly surprised—the room was even more spacious than I had imagined, with a clean bed, soft lighting, and a large window. Although it was nighttime, I could already picture how the sunlight would pour in during the day. Sure enough, the next morning, I was gently awakened by natural light. Pulling back the curtains, the room instantly brightened, lifting my mood as well.
Breakfast was served at the hotel’s second-floor restaurant, offering a wide variety of options, from Chinese porridge to Western pastries. The attentive staff even asked if I’d like coffee, showcasing their meticulous service.
At noon, after meeting a client nearby, I decided to return to the hotel for a short rest. Passing by the conference room area, I noticed several staff members setting up the venue. Curious, I asked about it and learned that a large conference for 300 people was scheduled for the next day. The hotel’s sales manager smiled and explained, "Our largest conference room spans 300 square meters and is fully equipped. Many companies prefer hosting events here."
In the afternoon, I took some time to explore a nearby shopping mall, which was just a ten-minute walk away—very convenient. Upon returning, I found plenty of available parking spaces in the hotel’s lot, a thoughtful perk for self-driving guests.
Back in my room that evening, everything had been tidied up to its original state. My toothbrush was even covered with a dust-proof cap, accompanied by a note that read, "This keeps it cleaner." Such small touches instantly warmed my heart.
In my ten years in the hotel industry, I’ve seen countless flashy advertisements. But what truly stays with you are the heartfelt details. Wushe Yuexiang Hotel, with its 177 clean and bright rooms, professional conference facilities, over 100 free parking spaces, and attentive service, made me feel the true meaning of "home away from home."
If you’re looking for a high-value hotel in Tangshan, give this place a try. I’m confident you’ll fall in love with its sunlight and warmth, just as I did.
