Tunisian Beach
Sousse Beach is a vibrant mix of relaxation and lively activity. The turquoise waters are incredibly inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip. I loved watching families and couples enjoying the sunshine. The beach is lined with hotels and cafes, so finding refreshments is easy. There's a real buzz here, with vendors offering everything from souvenirs to water sports. It's a great place to soak up the Tunisian atmosphere, and the proximity to the historic Medina adds another layer of cultural richness to the experience. Overall a great beach to visit.

A Perfect Tunisian Breakfast at Tiziri🐈
#getgoing2025
I had the pleasure of experiencing a traditional Tunisian breakfast at Tiziri in Sousse, and it was absolutely delightful.
The breakfast set included fresh Tunisian bread, dates, boiled eggs, cheese, and a refreshing glass of mint tea. Everything was flavorful and perfectly paired, making for an authentic start to the day.
The highlight for me was the traditional Tunisian coffee at the end—rich, strong, and incredibly satisfying. The whole meal was comforting, and I couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast experience.
And to top it all off, there was a sweet, angelic cat at the café that was incredibly friendly and made the whole atmosphere even more welcoming.😻
### Why I recommend it:
- You get a full taste of Tunisian culture with fresh, authentic flavors.
- The café has a warm, friendly vibe, especially with the adorable cat around.

Le Petit Cafe Maure Sousse Madin
As soon as I entered this cafe, I was charmed by its beauty!
Located in the Medina of Sousse, as the name suggests, is a small café.
Everything was too nice and I was immediately captivated!😍
The colorful fabrics look great in the blue interior.
Mint tea is about 1.5 usd. I was happy to see that it is reasonably priced and even comes with baked goods!
The staff is very helpful and friendly. I recommend this cafe to all travelers to Sousse.😍

Sousse, Tunisia: A Stroll Through the City
Sousse is considered the third largest city in Tunisia, located about 140 km south of Tunis. It is a beautiful coastal city that can be reached by bus from Tunis.
The city is very picturesque and is often referred to as the 'Pearl of the Sahel.' Its old town is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Entering the Medina, the streets continue along a gentle slope. The contrast between the white walls and blue doors is simply stunning. You can stop by a café or peek into the shops. Just walking around the city is a delightful experience.

[Tunisia] Stylish cafe in Sousse
#overseastraveltrip
I took a break at a cafe in Sousse, a popular tourist destination in Tunisia.
Located in the Medina, this cafe is very popular with tourists for its wide variety of menu items and stylish interior.
I ordered the traditional Arabic lunch set. You can enjoy a little bit of many Arabic dishes, such as olives, cheese, yogurt, and Arabic coffee. The #Tunisia #Africa set comes with many cute small plates, so it's a feast for the eyes as well.
You can take a relaxing break in the spacious interior. This is a recommended cafe in Sousse.

A Taste of Mexico in Tunisia: A Vibrant and Flavorful Experience
If you’re craving a taste of Mexico while in Tunisia, this delightful restaurant offers an unexpected culinary journey. The colorful setting immediately catches your eye, with vibrant decor that perfectly complements the rich flavors of the dishes.
I ordered a mixed platter that was not only visually appealing but packed with satisfying flavors. The assortment included crispy rolled tortillas stuffed with tender fillings, delicious quesadillas, and golden fries to complement the meal. The quesadillas were grilled to perfection, with just the right balance of crispness and soft, cheesy goodness inside. The sauces, particularly the tangy dip, provided a flavorful punch that enhanced every bite.
What stood out to me was the fusion of Mexican and local Tunisian elements. While the dish stayed true to traditional Mexican ingredients and presentation, there was a noticeable nod to local flavors, making it unique and distinct from typical Mexican cuisine.
Service was attentive and quick, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re a tourist missing home or a foodie exploring international cuisines, this restaurant delivers a genuine slice of Mexico with a Tunisian twist. It’s an ideal spot for both casual meals and festive group dinners, providing an authentic yet distinct taste that leaves you craving more.
Make sure to stop by and indulge in the refreshing and flavorful Mexican dishes—it’s a treat your taste buds won’t forget!

From Cafe Paris to Hotel Paris
From Cafe Paris to Hotel Paris
Perched on a stool I’d made a happy discovery upon taking a sideways turn and taking up offer of cous cous for dinner. A drinking den, except in Ramadan. Packed with men, deep in debate, I didn’t expect to stay long but a few beers later the conversation lead to closing time. My bag of ice kindly offered by the woman running the bar and whom made me feel looked out for, had melted but I’d learnt more about this place in a couple hours than I had all week. There’s always a Cafe Paris in these countries cities and towns. The iconic era’s imagery on the walls , that poster, it feels like gone back in time prohibiting era for women anyway! I was unnoticed and grateful for that respect.
A quick walk back, Hotel Paris is perched just inside the perimeter of the thick fortress walled old town. Serene simplicity and with rooms surrounding a courtyard this place is worth staying at for the rooftop alone. See the stars catch the breeze, submerge in the sounds tempting you outside. Dawn or dusk up on the roof makes this an oasis casting a magical light over the city walks and bathed in golden hour colours it was the best way to go and want to come back for more. After the bizarre hotel compound heading for the bazar of the
Medina was a good move. And right next to the train station back to the airport. Perfect. #medinahotel #tunisia #hotel #oldcity #medinaroom #cityview #bargainhunting #simplicity

Loved Driving Quad Bike in Tunisia
Found a new favourite activity - quad bikes. Driving dirt tracks on a 4 wheeler is truckloads of fun. I absolutely loved it, addicted even. Took to it like a duck to water. must be the lack of cars on the roads. Well building sites. only issue was not being allowed to overtake and go faster. Highly recommend for thrills - deffo doing that again.
