#springitinerary Chiiwa Gorge is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden world. Tucked away in the mountains of Shinshiro (not Kyoto, don’t let Google confuse you), it’s a chill hike through forest trails, past clear streams, and up toward these crazy rock formations and caves. The name “Chiiwa” means “breast rock” because of these wild stalactites in a cave that literally look like... well, you get it. The area has this peaceful, almost spiritual vibe, probably because there are little Buddhist statues tucked into the caves, and a natural stone gate called Tsūtenmon that’s super cool to walk through. It’s part workout, part nature therapy, with just enough quirk to keep things interesting. Not too touristy, not too tough, just bring good shoes and a sense of adventure. Perfect for escaping the city and pretending you're in a Ghibli movie for a few hours.

Introducing the breakfast at Hazu Gassho in Yuya Onsen, Aichi!!! Of course, I was happy that there were many side dishes to go with the rice, but the white rice cooked in a clay pot and rolled omelet were delicious...!!! The room we stayed in at Hazu Gassho in Yuya Onsen, Aichi. Introducing the Japanese-Western room for two!!! This is an inn that only accepts five groups per day, so we rarely meet other guests in the hallway, but the rooms are also separated, so we were able to stay very quietly🫶 The room I stayed in had two rooms, a Japanese-style room and a bedroom, and it was spacious and comfortable even for two people!!! I basically stayed in the Japanese-style room, but I wanted to spend more time lazing around in bed, so one night wasn't enough~🥹 It was also nice that the drinks in the refrigerator in the room were free to drink~!!! #Spring0yenTrip Nagashino Castle is surrounded by a quiet river and trees, and it is so peaceful that it is hard to believe that a fierce battle once took place here. As I walked from the station, the first thing I saw was the castle ruins stone monument and a well-maintained park-like space. There are not many remains, but the remains of the dry moat and earthworks are well preserved, and as I walked, I naturally thought back to the Sengoku period. At the nearby museum, there were exhibits about the musketeers and the battle between the Oda-Tokugawa allied forces and the Takeda forces, and it was interesting to be able to concretely imagine what it was like at the time with maps and models. It is not a flashy tourist spot, but it is a place where you can quietly immerse yourself in history, and I felt that it was worth taking the time to visit.

Horaisan Toshogu Shrine, located on Mount Horaiji in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture, is a shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, and is one of the three major Toshogu shrines along with those in Nikko and Kunozan! This Toshogu Shrine was built by Tokugawa Iemitsu, who was impressed by the legend of the "Toshosha Engi," and ordered the senior councilor Abe Bungonokami Tadaaki to build it, and was completed on September 17, 1651 (4th year of Keian).  The grounds are decorated with over 50 elaborate carvings, and their vivid colors convey the appearance of the time of its founding! #timetotravel Chiiwa Gorge (乳岩峡) is a valley and a most visited tourist spot in the Aichi region, it is a large white limestone cliff with a height of 670 meters, located on the Chiiwa River of Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture. The cliff has a nice half-mile long trail of weird rocks that was designated a natural monument in 1934, with a sparkling emerald-green clear stream and amazing caves. A mountain stream with very clean water, passing through a tunnel of huge rocks, with large and small caves, and a natural stone gate called Tsutenmon Arch.

This is Yotsuya Senmaida in Shinjo City, Aichi Prefecture. The famous rice terraces have clean water and fresh air. When I went, the rice had already been harvested, but if you go before the harvest, there will be lots of rice. It seems that vocational school students are also growing rice.
