Laguna Redang Island Resort, set against a backdrop of silky smooth, sparkling white sand, crystal-clear waters and emerald hills. There is a small house reef at the corner of the beach just in front of this hotel, which makes it great for a quick snorkeling. However during peak holiday period (June - July), the hotel is nearly full with guests. The snorkeling trips that depart at 9.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. are in large boats which are crammed with guests. So if you go on this particular snorkeling jaunt, be prepared to see more people than fishes ;) On the other hand, the rooms are clean and well kept, great swimming pool and staff are attentive. If you like quiet resorts like I do, probably go during the off peak period (Feb - April, Oct - Nov). Note: If you are a friend of sharks, at 5.30pm daily hang around the house reef as the staff will bring you out feeding the sharks. It was a 4D3N trip to Redang Island with friends. After we touched down in Kuala Lumpur airport, we took bus to Terengganu (a state in Malaysia). We stayed at Terengganu for a day and departed to Redang Island on the next morning. During our 4D3N trip in Redang, we stayed at Laguna Redang Island Resort. The resort has to be booked at least 15days before the stay. The view of the resort was just too awesome and we really love it. We literally feel the best of mother nature 🏝️ We all love buffet and we find the dishes that were served are mainly local delights. The price is consider cheap and we find it very easy to eat at the resort after tired snorkeling 🤿 Laguna Redang Island Resort 📍 Pulau Redang, 21090 Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia I would recommend you to stay at Laguna Redang Island resort as they provide free boat and snorkeling services to their guests 🙌 The experience was amazing! We got to see different colour and types of fishes 🐠 , coral 🪸 etc. Besides from snorkeling, we also walked to the beach near to the entrance of the resort, where you can see three different colours of sea 🌊 under the sun. I would recommend you to take some nice pictures here as we spent half day walking around the beach 🏖️ The only downside of the resort is that the WiFi is not really working in our room, but WiFi at the lobby works very well. This resort is a resort for anyone who has a low budget to travel because this resort only has a few rooms and suitable for individuals traveling in groups because it is relatively cheap. Room & Amenities: The relatively spacious room can accommodate four to six people at a time. There are two single mattresses in the loft. This room has an air conditioner and does not have other amenities such as towels, soap, iron, refrigerator. So for those who want to stay here, make sure you bring enough toiletries. The resort also has a cafe that provides delicious food. Attraction: The most interesting thing here is the beauty of the beach and I had the opportunity to see the sunrise just from the front of the room. it was a very amazing experience. Took a short getaway to Redang island 🏝. So many fishes and turtles in the sea there. Clear blue water, bright skies and beautiful sandy beach. The sand was very soft and walkable. Like stepping on baby powder. Went snorkelling and had the best time looking at corals, fishes, turtles and glow in the dark sea animal at night. Had free food from the hotel buffet style and was delicious with dessert and fresh cut fruits. Would love to go there again for the turtles 🐢

Among the many popular hotels on Heatwave Island, the Taras Beach Spa Resort is an absolute must-visit. For those who love taking photos, there are plenty of great spots on Taras Beach to capture stunning shots, including beach chairs, beachside pools, mottled coconut groves, bird nests, and swings. Especially with the clear and multi-colored seawater on sunny days, the photos taken here are incredibly beautiful. This suite we stayed in has a bedroom and a living room, and the area is very large. The houses are built along the mountain, and the higher up the mountain, the higher the altitude and the better the view. For a family trip of four, I highly recommend a house that is connected together with a door in the middle that can be opened. It is perfect for a parent-child trip with young children. The hotel has many free family activities! Including indoor children's playground, as well as ping pong, billiards, chess, and other tabletop games. Adults can choose to take a boat out to sea for snorkeling, or experience ATV off-road vehicles on the beach. No matter what age group of friends, everyone can have a great time here and parents can also relax while bringing their children. Dining at the Taras Beach Spa Resort is definitely a pleasure, whether it's Southeast Asian cuisine or exquisite Western dishes, it's a journey of taste buds that leaves you moved time and time again, adding to the enjoyment of your vacation and leisure time. Transportation: Hot Wave Island can be reached by boat or plane. Previously, it was a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tenggol, followed by a two-and-a-half-hour boat ride to Hot Wave Island. We chose SKS Airways for our round trip this time. It only takes one hour of flight time from Kuala Lumpur to Redang Island. And it's encountering the monsoon that causes ships to stop sailing, but airplanes can still operate, which is the advantage. Airport to hotel, there is a free shuttle service. The journey takes about five minutes.
