Fly south to go hiking in Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Walking in the forest of Khao Luang Nakhon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to Krung Ching Waterfall (Krung Ching Waterfall is the waterfall on the 1,000 baht note). Searching for Champagne mushrooms. The nature study trail is easy, not steep or slippery. It is a rainforest because there is a waterfall flowing through it. The forest is in a lush condition. There are strange birds, butterflies, insects, flowers, mushrooms, etc. to see along both sides of the road (there are pictures in the post, try scrolling to see). Along the way, I stopped all the time because my eyes were only looking for Champagne mushrooms. 555+ There were very few, but I could see them every now and then, 1-3 at each point. The flowers were small, not very big, and the flowers were not perfect. At some points, I got stepped on (I was so annoyed, maybe because they didn't know). Because most southern people don't really walk in the forest that much. Even some officers there didn't know them. But along the way, I saw other kinds of mushrooms. The waterfall is quite magnificent and beautiful. There is a lot of water. I climbed down the rocks to stand at the waterfall and looked around at the water falling down. I saw a 360° rainbow around me. As for the waterfall viewpoint, I will see purple wildflowers, which reminded me of Man Daeng Waterfall in Dan Sai, so I gave Krung Ching Waterfall its nickname: "Man Muang Waterfall" 555 (I made it up myself) In summary, I give this trip 8/10 points to Krung Ching because the way down to the waterfall, the National Park has made stairs to go down to see the waterfall, but the side of the road, railings, and footpath are broken in many places. The railings are broken, and there is a dangerous ravine next to it. Some places are cracked cement holes. The turn is in need of renovation or repair, but other places are okay. The tent site is spacious. There is a guest house that needs to be booked in advance. If you are traveling down south on a holiday or a long weekend, try it. The waterfall is beautiful right now. Note: There are so few leeches that you almost never see them. As for the distance, we started walking from the National Park office to the waterfall, which is about 3.7 km. There is a round trip of 7 km. But Sunab got 9.7 km round trip because we often went off the route. Hehe, it was too much to walk. After leaving the National Park, we went to Tham Hong. Crawl into the cave and play in the waterfall. The cave is beautiful. I took some pictures to share in the post.
