Nihonmatsu Castle in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. I went there around 4:30pm, but there was no one there. Or rather, it was pitch black. I was scared so I ran along the way, but there were quite a few mountain monkeys!! Nihonmatsu Shrine This shrine is located at 1-61 Honmachi, Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. The nearest station is JR East Tohoku Main Line Nihonmatsu Station, about a 5-minute walk away. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, so insect repellent is a must. The annual lantern festival in October is famous, so I wanted to see it at least once. Nihonmatsu Station/Nihonmatsu City Tourist Information Center A JR East Tohoku Main Line station located in Honmachi 2-chome, Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. You will see smoke rising from the crater along with the view of Mt. Finpun. It is even better when the leaves are not falling and it is a bit cold. The weather is good. During the winter, when it snows, the road will be closed and you cannot go up to the top. You will find the crater of Mt. Azuma Kofuji, which is 500 meters in diameter. Introducing the large public bath at mt.inn!!! There are two indoor baths, with two types of baths: warm and hot.
