Sawara City, not far from Narita City, is a lovely old town and shopping district. Walking along the small alleys reminds me of the atmosphere of the prosperous Edo period. We visited during the New Year and most of the shops were closed, so we could only see the houses and buildings in Sawara that had been renovated to their original form. However, seeing the various historical buildings, such as traditional warehouses used by merchants and Western-style brick structures, is just as enjoyable. If it is not a festival day, tourists can also take a boat ride. Although it was a bit quiet today, it was beautiful and had a Japanese feel, so you can take beautiful pictures to show off to your friends. #TravelAbroad

I came here about 7 years ago, but this time I will go back to take pictures of the Pokemon Manhole. It takes 3 hours round trip from Chiba and 4 hours from Tokyo. It is a local tourist destination that you can only get to after transferring 3 times from the hotel. I took pictures of 2 Pokemon Manholes near the station and also saw a spot that resembles the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter again. The weather is artistic. There is a direct local train back to Chiba City, so it takes about 70 minutes. I woke up from a deep sleep and it was the last stop.
