⁡ I went to Oku-no-shima (Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture), a small island that became connected to the mainland due to the drop in the water level of Lake Biwa! ⁡ Oku-no-shima is a bird habitat and floats about 200 meters offshore. Since the beginning of December last year, the water has receded, and a road has appeared. The town hall is a building with a nice design. We passed by a plus-size clothing store which also looked nice to shop at and buy some oversized coats as spring wear. It was getting dark when we reached Hikomoto Town.
