On the way to #fortwilliam, we stopped by to see the Harry Potter filming location. The place is so beautiful, it looks like it came out of a book and a movie. There were many people waiting to see the train from all over. #glencoe #glenfinnan When we arrived at fort william, we stopped by a local fish & chips shop. The big plate was served with a salad that tasted a bit strange. After dinner, we walked around fort william and took our little cow to take pictures at a super cool photo spot. The Jacobite steam train departing from here will pass through the famous scene in the movie - Glenfinnan Viaduct, which is the scene where the Hogwarts train runs in the movie. Although I didn't get on the train, I arrived at the train station early to wait just to see it leave the platform with my own eyes. 🚂 Smoke, whistle, old red carriage... the moment the train started, it seemed as if time had gone back a hundred years. After leaving the station, I walked down Main Street to find the popular fried fish shop in town (you’ll definitely be drawn in by the smell 😂). I ordered a standard fish & chips, which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and you could hear the "crunch" sound with every bite. Fort William is not big, but it has a relaxing magic. There is not too much travel pressure, and there is no need to check in at tourist attractions. You can just sit by the lake and watch the changing lights, or watch the kids chasing ducks, or you can eat fried fish while waiting for a train like I did.

The place is absolutely amazing and has too many tourists trying their best to climb up the huge mountain. It is apparently the tallest mountain in the UK. The weather was bad for us but that didn’t stop us from keeping at it to climb the summit. It was an other worldly experience once we reached the top. There were so many people who were trying and there were some who you find going back down.
