I took my family on a self-driving trip to the Aisin Gioro Royal Museum, which is known as the "Little Jiangnan of Shenyang", to see what it was all about. ⛳️ Aisin Gioro Royal Museum 📍 Address: Banlashan Village, Dagujiako Town, Faku County, Shenyang, Liaoning Province 🚙 Transportation: Self-driving (1-1.5 hours from downtown Shenyang) Shenyang-Kangping Expressway - National Highway 203 🕓 Opening hours: 7:30-16:30 🎫 Tickets: Free You can't tell what's inside the Aisin Gioro Royal Museum just by looking at the name, but it's actually a 4A-level scenic spot 🏯. It was originally a royal brewery in the Liao Dynasty, and was renamed "Zujiafang Distillery" in 1635. The "Zujiafang Baijiu" brewed here was a special tribute wine for the Qing court. It's a very niche attraction. It used to cost 50 yuan 💴 for a ticket, but now it's free. A very important point is that the 🅿️ parking lot is also free! This place can only be reached by car. The Shenyang-Kangping Expressway 🛣 and National Highway 203 have speed limits, so you can't drive too fast. Instead, you can enjoy the scenery along the way 🏞. Don't underestimate this place. It has four intangible cultural heritages 💎 (wine sea, ancient papermaking, stone pot, mud cellar) and five honors 🏆 (Liaoning Time-honored Brand, Shanghai World Expo Gold Award, Manchu Brewing Heir, Royal First Wine Cellar, National Tourist Attraction). The scenery in the Royal Museum is ancient and quaint 🏯, very suitable for taking photos, especially in Hanfu, cheongsam... The scenery has some Jiangnan water town charm 🎐, very photogenic. The scenic area takes about 2 hours ⏳ to visit, and it may take longer if you take a lot of photos. There are snacks 🥞 for sale at the entrance of the scenic area, but they are not very tasty, so you can bring some food. Hiking to Huanzi Cave Reservoir, found a lot of small garlic roots. It's the season for digging wild vegetables. If you don't go out now, it will be too late. In this weather of four or five degrees above zero, we bravely headed straight to Faku Huanzi Cave Reservoir. Leaving the urban area, heading north along Huanghe Street, passing through Daomeng Space, and then all the way on the national highway, passing through several towns like Taotun, Dengshibao, and Xiushuiziko. These places are quite nice to visit. It takes about two hours to reach the destination. The scenery is calm and peaceful, with the sky and water blending into one, stretching endlessly... Although it's not as big as Caihu Lake, the scenery is still quite nice. The most important thing is that mom finally dug up the first batch of wild vegetables this year - small garlic roots. This thing doesn't taste particularly good, but it is said to have medicinal value and is called Xiebai. There are a lot of them in the fields around the reservoir. Before the farmland is sown, interested friends can come and dig for treasures.

Inside, it mainly displays and sells Aisin Gioro liquor, where you can taste and experience, and a long row of liquor jars is also great for photography! Aisin Gioro Royal Museum Climbing the ancient city wall, with flags fluttering and Qing dynasty cannons rusted, the ancient city tower stands in the middle, making it a really great spot for photography! Overlooking the scenic area from the city wall, you can see the entire area at a glance; the wind turbines on the nearby hillside are also very beautiful against the blue sky and white clouds; The Aisin Gioro Royal Museum is large in scale, with ancient buildings full of antique charm, such as Qian Huang Academy, Ziyun Palace, Dazheng Pavilion, Qian Gate, Daqian Gate, Qiankun Pavilion, etc., all reflecting the Manchu Qing style, definitely worth a visit and great for photography; Warm Tips: The scenic area is about 100 kilometers away from Shenyang. Navigate to the Aisin Gioro Royal Museum for directions, there is no public transportation, only self-driving or taxi is available, with ample parking spaces, and the parking lot is free.
