Pure Land Aba🏔️ This time we came to Maerkang, the capital of Aba Prefecture. 🏨By chance, I booked the Yakushika Hotel ❤Recommendation reason: 1: The budget is about 300, the price is right 2: The hotel is relatively new and will open in 2024. The building exterior is a bit novel. 3: Located next to the river valley, you can see the mountain view opposite 4: There is a unique starry sky garden on the 13th floor of the hotel 5: Cultural connotation: Mijushika means eternal residence in Tibetan. On the mountain outside of Maerkang City, drive all the way to the top of the mountain, 900 meters vertically above the Somo River Valley, 3,400 meters above sea level. There is a cool temple with a huge statue of Padmasambhava under construction, which is very spectacular… There are two paths from Ma'erkang City to Changlie Temple. Both paths go out of the city along National Highway 107 and turn left towards Tibet. The two paths start from the bottom of the valley and climb back and forth like a comb all the way to Changlie Temple at an altitude of about 3,500 meters. The road is very narrow and in many places only one car can pass. At some bends, the car also needs to reverse to turn. Changlie Temple is located on Changlie Mountain in Ma'erkang County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was founded in the 1240s and has a history of more than 800 years. The monastery, which belongs to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution but was rebuilt in the 1980s on the site of the old monastery.
