It is a third-class royal temple, common type. At one time, this temple was the place where an important Buddha image of Thailand was enshrined, which is Phra Buddha Sihing or commonly known as “Phra Singh”. Currently, Wat Phra Singh is the place where Phra Buddha Sihing (or Phra Singh) is enshrined, a replica of Chiang Saen art, Mara-Vijaya posture, bronze type, gilded, 37 centimeters wide at the lap, 66 centimeters high at the base. The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall is a Lanna Thai art Buddha image, 21st Buddhist century, Mara-Vijaya posture, bronze type, gilded, 204 centimeters wide at the lap, 284 centimeters high at the base. It is enshrined in the ordination hall with a graceful appearance. There is a replica of the Buddha’s footprint, a bell tower, a Bodhi tree from Bodh Gaya, and a Sala tree from Sri Lanka that Phra Thammakittisophon brought from Sri Lanka and planted at Wat Phra Singh in B.E. 2512
