Oh Bae-by baby!
Here’s my most recent coffee shop sighting, thanks to my good friend Jamee for the recommendation. Bae Bistro, a small yet cozy cafe is located along Circumferential Road, Marfori Subd, just right at the corner of the intersection. From the outside, you won’t be able to notice it, but I guess the gate’s open all the time so it can be accessed easily.
Minimalist patterns always get my attention since I have a penchant for simple, functional designs.
Their menu includes a variety of coffee options, other beverages and snacks.

Palpitate-ing moments
I love that no matter how laidback #DavaoCity may seem to be, cafes and coffee shops are ubiquitous here nowadays. If you’re not from Davao, it’s one good reason to come and visit our lovely city.
One of the newest cafes in town is found just around the corner at Palma Gil Street, Obrero. With its catchy name and eye-catching interior, Palpitate Coffee Davao is surely worth a visit! And for all you know, it could become one of your favorite hangouts!
Aside from the aesthetic feels, this coffee shop offers quite the kind of ambiance one needs—chill and cozy!

A refreshing view
#2023travelwish
Its fresh air is still fresh in my memories. The Jack's Ridge is a wonderful place to relax with attracting view of the region. The garden is put up with long chairs to have a great rest while overlooking of the city view. Ridge’s amphitheater is a romantic sunken lawn with a view deck looking out to the city and the gulf. It is a perfect place to take a leisurely afternoon walk. The view deck is nice to see the stunning city view. There are benches scattered all around the amphitheater for those who would like to rest their feet.

clean food, clean soul at Clean Café!
Clean Café by Soul Kitchen is one of the few restaurants here in our city that caters to the lifestyle of anybody who is vegan.
Their plant-based menu offers various options such as wraps, smoothies, smoothie bowls, pizza, pasta and everything else!
This is surely heaven for those who like to live clean!
PS my favorite is their Hula smoothie bowl! You should give it a try 👌🏻

Embrace Nature
How do you describe your best trip?
How memorable your best trip is?
I am sure it is all special in many ways and it is worth remembering.
Best trips sometimes or often so ordinary. Sometimes it is so simple just like mine. And many times best trips that you made solo rocks. Simply because you made it on your own. Your own preferences and bucket lists. In short your dream destinations.
I am so lucky that I have come to experience and appreciate the nature beauty of Eden Park in Davao. The park is wide and offers a lot of fun and exciting experiences. When you love nature you will definitely appreciate this place. The fresh, cool crisp mountain air is so rewarding. Spectacular views of trees blends well in the refreshing surroundings.
It here I have experience the fresh harvest of mangosteens. How cool is that? Truly nature has it's beauty.

"Life is here"
"LIFE is here"
This is the symbolic slogan the city has been carrying throughout the years -- highlighting how it has become a globally livable city and a center of excellence in governance, investment, tourism, and sustainable growth driven by empowered citizenry. The “Davao Life is Here” logo symbolizes the five icons of Davao; the regal Philippine eagle; the majestic Mt. Apo; the 11 Etho-linguistic tribes; the King of fruits durian; and the beautiful Queen of Philippine flowers, waling-waling. All are signifying the bounty and richness of the city’s flora and fauna. The logo also symbolizes what the Dabawenyos aspire and live for – unity amidst diversity.

Davao Food is here!
1st picture: Tuna Kilawin or Kilawing Tuna is a Filipino dish wherein cubed fresh tuna is mixed with vinegar, lemon, or calamansi and chilled until the fish is gradually cooked by the vinegar or citrus juices. The best tuna kilawin I have tasted is in Davao as fresh tuna is abundant in the area. It is a favourite dish offered during island tours too.
2nd picture: Durian is widely known as the “King of Fruits”, and is abundant in Davao. Davao's rich fertile volcanic soil and climate make it most suitable for sustained production of the freshest and tastiest Durian. Since the fruits are locally produced, the prices are comparably much cheaper than anywhere in the country. Take a taste of Durian too when you visit Davao someday.
3rd picture: Another Davao's pride is the Mangosteen where in year round the fruit is abundant here. Relatively cheaper here too. First time to see Mangosteen trees here.
4th picture : During our lunchtime on our Davao island hopping, this seaweeds have been artfully presented with tomato in a flower shape and cucumber. Local guides indeed know how to impress tourists.

Welcome to Davao!
I've been visiting Davao City for a couple of times and all I can say is,
The Taxi drivers are very honest and friendly!
I've tried the "Kilawin" and Fish soup at the carenderia near Ecoland Bus Terminal, it was cheap yet delicious!
Also, I bought some "pasalubong" like Piyaya, Fried banana that is coated with mascovado and sesame seeds, ube hopia, and Durian Jam. These are my favorites everytime I visit here.
I really like Davao because of the people, also their food!
I really love the experience! Will visit again soon.
