A trip to Yerong beach is one of the most exciting adventures that happened to us in Hainan! It is a huge beach, that seems to be endless, with a fabulous white sand! It is quite wild, or you can say 'undeveloped', but for us it was an obvious advantage. There are nearly no people at all, except several fishermen with their nets. No one will disturb you here, and you can swim whenever you want! 🚌🚎🚕 It is not that easy to get here, even if you'll take a taxi to the beach, it would be a problem to find a taxi that will bring you back to the city. The road is quite bumpy and dusty as well, so even though you can always rent a scooter, we would definitely recommend to rent a car for several days. You can use sharing service immediately upon arrival to Baimajin train station (白马井站）. 🍔🍟🥪 There are no cafes or restaurants on this beach, so be prepared to take some food and drinks with you. It is a great place to have a picnic with amazing view! 🌅🏝🏖 Absolutely surreal place, as such beaches are always overcrowded in China! Ok, photos might be not that impressive, but the polished texture of these ancient stones under the palm of your hand can provide you an absolutely amazing experience! These stones have been producing slat for centuries, they are scorched under the harsh southern sun, and hand polished by tens of generations of local people. To be honest, I was not expecting that much from that site, but with a first touch we caught that sentimental poetic wave. So if you are interested in history, this attraction is definitely worth visiting! 🚕🚎🚌 We would recommend to take a car for several days immediately at Baimajin train station (you can use car sharing services), coz there are plenty of amazing attractions around Danzhou, like wild volcanic beaches, distant fishermans villages, etc etc, where it is not so easy to get to. 🍔🍟🥪 There are many small cafes right on the spot, where you can enjoy some fresh sea food. Of course, these places are super ascetic, with plastic chairs and so on, but local food can be really delicious here! 🏵 Of course, you can buy this local salt here, but to be honest, it doesn't seem to be produced with this ancient method. Getting There - go by car to 中国海南省儋州市峨蔓镇; from Haikou 2.5h car drive; from Danzhou 70 minutes Attractions - Geological Park with black rock coast, cliffs and sand beach. in winter almost no people. great place to be alone and make some nice nature pictures. Hotels - no hotel nearby but you can find some in Danzhou or Haikou Food & Restaurants - better bring your own food in winter / off season. there are some local restaurants which likely will be open in summer. #nationalpark

Dongpo Academy This is where Su Dongpo gave lectures after he was demoted to Hainan. That is, a juren was born here in the second year, and a jinshi was born here in the ninth year, ending the history of Hainan without a jinshi. 💰Ticket cost: Off-season tickets are 21 yuan (May 1st-September 30th), peak season tickets are 25 yuan (October 1st-April 30th), and app reservations are 20 yuan. ⛰Attraction guide: The scenic area is divided into a free park area and a paid academy area. There is no ticket check at the gate, and tickets are only checked when entering the innermost academy. The park revolves around a lake of lotus flowers, which are in full bloom in May. There is a cruise ship pier, but it was not open when we went. Walking past the Dongpo Bridge, on the left is the Quanxue Garden. The golden thatched roof and the surrounding green coconut trees are still very good as a photo background, but the sun was too strong when we went there. Further ahead is the entrance to the academy, which has a wine-carrying pavilion and wine-carrying hall and a bronze statue of Dongpo. I walked around the free park area. It was so hot. 🔺How to have fun❓ ▪️Dajiao Park A popular park with large reefs and seaside boardwalks. There are many vendors at the entrance, and the fruits are quite cheap 🍈 ▪️Zhongjiao Park A must-see sunset spot when traveling on the west line. Kids can also dig sand and climb reefs here. The sunset happens quickly, so be sure to arrive early. ▪️Xiaojiao Park A bit further away, but also the best place to watch the sunset. ▪️Wanguo Beach Because it is a private beach for the hotel, it is less crowded and has some seaside swings and decorations. ▪️Kaiyuan Beach The beach behind Kaiyuan Resort is suitable for clamming, with many small reefs 🪨 ▪️Shayutang Village 🎬 The filming location of "Back to the Field". It is not far away and you can check it out along the way. ▪️Enjoying Kapok Flowers Now is the season when kapok flowers are in full bloom in Changjiang. We didn't go to any special flower viewing spots, but we saw a lot along the way. It was the first time I saw kapok flowers. The colors are bright and the flowers are super big. You can pick some up for photos 📷 🔺Where to stay❓ ▪️There are two hotels 🏨 in Qizi Bay, Kaiyuan Resort and Wanguo Hotel. We chose [Sicily Seaview Homestay]. We chose a sea view suite for three adults and one child, with a two-bedroom and one-living room layout. Facts have proved that our choice was very wise hahaha ▪️Yi Yi can run around in the room, enjoy the sea view 🌊 while eating fruit, and keep saying "Mom, it's so beautiful, so beautiful" ▪️The homestay butler will also recommend restaurants and travel guides. Some restaurants offer discounts if you mention the name of the homestay, which is very cost-effective. 🔺What to eat❓ ▪️There is a Bai Pang Pang food stall at the entrance of Dajiao Park, or there are more choices in the small town a ten-minute drive away. The owners are very enthusiastic. ▪️In the morning, there are also many vegetable sellers at the entrance of Evergrande's residential area. We bought some local sweet potatoes and corn 🌽, which can be steamed at the homestay. They are very delicious~ 🔺We had a vacation in advance before arriving in Sanya, and it was less crowded and quieter. We really love this 3-day, 2-night lie-down style baby-friendly trip ❤️

🧀Before visiting, I saw many people complaining about Ocean Flower Island and was quite worried. However, after experiencing it, the overall experience was actually good. So this isn't exactly a warning guide➡just some points to note 🗺Location: Ocean Flower Island is in Danzhou, divided into Islands 1/2/3. As tourists, you only need to visit Island 1👌 Islands 2/3 are residential areas 🚗Transportation: 1️⃣Recommended to drive yourself - many free parking spots on the island, and entry is free 2️⃣For those who can't drive, see the mini train in photo 2. Before 6pm: 60 yuan/person for unlimited rides; after 6pm: 30 yuan/person for unlimited rides; single ride: 20 yuan. Many stops available, boarding only at designated stations. Takes about 40 minutes from start to finish (the island isn't that big, but the train is slow and takes indirect routes) 3️⃣Electric cart: 20 yuan/ride, stops on demand, no unlimited rides, direct to destination 4️⃣Taxi/walking - transportation on the island is quite convenient. Outside vehicles can enter. Even walking is manageable, except for the Sunset Park section, the island isn't as big as imagined ⚠️Note the difference between mini train🚆and electric cart - different pricing, mini train route is longer 🧭Recommended route: 10am Ocean Park (detailed guide on homepage) ➡4pm exit park, photos 5-8 ➡Visit the unfinished Children's World, photo 9 (great for photos!!) ➡Walk to the food street (near outlets, reasonably priced food, not tourist prices, safe to eat, mix of big brands and affordable options) ➡Before 6pm visit Museum 2 for exhibitions, photo 4 ➡After 6pm take mini train to Sunset Park, photos 10-13 (check sunset time in advance) ➡Mini train to Wedding Chapel station photos 14-15 (light show starts at 8pm, arrive early for good spots, or shop at nearby outlets while waiting) ❗️Other notes: 1️⃣Last train from other stations is 10pm, but Sunset Park's last train is 7pm➡when photographing sunset, remember to check if it's the last train 2️⃣Besides Museum 2, other exhibition halls charge admission but aren't great value 3️⃣Water park opposite Ocean Park is NOT operating!! 4️⃣Can't enter Children's World for exploration now, only photos from outside. Online mentioned performances only happen during Lunar New Year, no longer available 5️⃣Wedding Manor stop isn't where you watch the light show, need to walk about 300m further. Chapel alone isn't photogenic, get spots near the sculptures for better photos 6️⃣Two hotels🏨on Island 1, both have good accommodations and are landmarks. Those wanting convenience can stay on Ocean Flower Island 7️⃣Twin Beach has water activities, good for watching sunrise
