I noticed that most of the stall busy selling traditional handicraft, light snacks, local foods but of course there were also many other options as well. Back to my own experience, apart of shopping from our boat, we were also able to step out of our boat and take a quick visit at this temple, Wat Charoen. You could check the maps on the whole market and discuss with the boat owner if you could stop on some spot for quick visit. Just keep in mind that the boat are rent by hour.

I booked a day trip to the floating market and the train market through trip.com. We booked for a private transfer to both markets. We were picked up from our hotel at 9am and taken to both. Our driver spoke good English and was also very kind and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and shared a lot of information with us about both markets.
