Travel and enjoy a warm cup of coffee while looking at the ice wall in Daejeon!? There's news that an ice wall café has appeared in Daejeon, and I went there without much expectation, thinking it wouldn't be anything special, but I was surprised by the unexpectedly majestic and overwhelming ice wall. The ice wall was beautiful, but there were also a lot of plants inside, which made me feel really fresh and pleasant in winter :) It would be nice to save this place and visit it sometime.

From starryxin Very relaxing walk ang beautiful place There was a board walk up to the Sky Tower. Quite an easy stroll up and should be wheelchair friendly. Walked up the to the recreational sites and there were sequoia trees along the path. Very beautiful. Weather was just nice for the stroll. There was a cafe at the entrance and we had to take a shelter as it started to rain as we were about to leave. A Day Trip to Beautiful Daejon O-World

Daejon O-World is a recreational adventure park located in the outskirts of Daejon city in South Korea. I visited the the place in May this year with my family. The day was full of adventure and the O-World had something to offer to almost every member of our family regradless of the age. The kids enjoyed the rides and were fully entertained with the Jungle Safari while me and my wife took thrilling rides and went to see the Bird Land where various bird species were there. When kids felt hungry we relaxed and ate at centralized food zone. Even going there was not much of a hussle as we conviniently took a bus and reached all the way to the O-World main entrance. It was a thoroughly entertaning trip.

Eating at a Folk Restaurant in Daejon

Yetteo is a folk restaurant located in the outskirts of Daejon city in South Korea. In Jun this year we had a family dinner there. It is some 15 mins drive away from city. Constructed in a traditional Korean architectural design the moment you stepped in you get the feeling of walking back into the past. The pathways, the lawns, the dining rooms all are carrying a traditional cultural touch. The food offerer here however is modern. You can get Pastas and Pizzas. Also you can order fish here. The serenity and calmness is what distinguishes it from other restaurants. There is a place for bonfire also where you can sit around and warm youself. You could also see old water wheels functioning. Alongside restaurant there is small folk museum which is established by the restaurant owner where you can see old Korean household things.

A Visit to Daejon National Cemetery Korea

Since I live in Daejon it is convinient for me to visit places in and around the city and capture the moments which are appealing in their beauty and scenery. Daejon is Metropolitan in Korea and is home to a lot of places of national significance. Daejon National Cemetery is one of such places. Today I visited the place on the recommendation of a friend. The place is a final resting place for thousands of Korean nationals. Normally those who die in national cause or for sevice of society are offered a place here. The grave stones are flawlessly lined with a bouquet of flowers placed beside. A lot of people come here to pay respect and remember their loved ones.
