Cullinan Diamond Mine is in Pretoria South Africa and it is where the largest diamond ever in the world was mined! First time going into a mine and it was fascinating although it was just a surface tour. Getting There - Recommend joining a day tour from Johannesburg or Pretoria and there are tour guides on site in the mine. Attractions - This was a very educational tour for me as I learnt a lot about diamonds and the mining industry. This mine produced many of the largest diamonds in the world! For half day, you will get a surface tour of the mine, see the machineries used and also see the mine from the top view. There are also exhibitions to show you the diamonds and video to show the history of the mine and mining process. Rating - 8/10.
