This time, I went to Bandung, known as Indonesia's Karuizawa, which is cooler than Jakarta and popular among locals as a summer resort 🍃 🚃 How to get there: 　From Jakarta to Padalarang Station by Woosh in 30 minutes 　→ From Padalarang Station to Bandung Station by local train in about 30 minutes 🎡 Tourist spots: ・Kawah Putih A volcanic lake with melted sulfur located about an hour and a half by car from Bandung city You can get very close to the sulfur lake, a unique experience in Indonesia 🇮🇩, but since sulfur is harmful to the body, it is recommended to stay for about 15 minutes! ・Rengganis Suspension Bridge A local tourist spot about 15 minutes by car from Kawah Putih Crossing the long, swaying suspension bridge leads to a sulfur hot spring The temperature is about 40 degrees Celsius, and it’s nice to soak your feet in it ♨️ ・Asia-Africa Conference Museum A museum located on the popular Braga Street in Bandung city The site where the famous Asia-Africa Conference was held The conference was held in 1995 to strengthen cooperation among the Third World powers, and you can learn about the diplomatic history with ASEAN countries 📚 Admission was free! 🏨 Hotel: Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers Located about 15 minutes by car from Braga Street The hotel's decor creates a resort atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxing hotel stay in a summer resort ◎ Also, the hotel has many activities such as pony riding, badminton, and a playground for small children, giving the impression that many families stay here! 🥘 Food & Restaurants: ・Braga Permai A restaurant with retro decor that retains the atmosphere of the Dutch era You can enjoy Western dishes such as Dutch cuisine, pasta, and pizza! Of course, beer and other alcoholic drinks were available 🍻 There is also live band performance at night! ・Kopi Toko Djawa (Braga) A cafe with retro decor as well Be careful as there are few seats ⚠️ ・Sweet Cantina The most popular gelato shop on Braga Street 🍨 A famous shop with a line all day long This time, I chose refreshing mango ice cream! ・Braga Art Cafe As the name suggests, the interior is stylish and relatively easy to enter! Since many cafes on Braga Street are crowded, this cafe is perfect for a break! 🛍️ Shopping: ・Fortuna Shoes An Indonesian leather shoe brand store about 10 minutes by car from Braga Street 👞 Known in Japan under the brand name Jalan Sriwijaya There were also items available for about 10,000 yen cheaper than in Japan! If you have time, please visit! That was a very satisfying one-night, two-day trip to Bandung! Since Kawah Putih is quite far from Bandung and taxis are hard to find, I recommend chartering a car to go there. I hope this helps with your travel plans even a little bit ☺️

This is a good looking cafe with a sense of sty. Every decorative detail reveals the owner's meticulous attention to craftsmanship; for instance, the portafilter is replaced with door handles. Even the restroom basin is reimagined as a cascading waterfall spillway. Moreover, the cafe is adorned with an abundance of greenery. If you are planning to work at the cafe, I recommend choosing a seat upstairs, as the ground floor can be somewhat noisy. I like the interiors and the vibe of this cafe. Delicious croissant, loved the coffee with condensed milk as well. There are some books near the seats if anyone wants to read while having their coffee. It is on the second floor, and it is very quiet. Tried one of their experimental drinks, ice cold Ivy Matcha (Matcha, Amber Juice, Tonic Water & Soda) and it tasted really good. Took a while for them to prepare as they were pretty crowded and I think this matcha drink may also need some time to prepare. Overall a nice cafe. #indonesiatrip #thingstodo #localfood

Their menu is extensive enough for any coffee fan, but curated enough to make sure it's all good. I had the chance to try the coconut coffee and their affogato on the first day. Both were great. The coconut coffee is more lightly fragrant than most I've had. And the affogato features a very special-flavoured ice-cream that I've not seen anywhere else. It goes amazing with the intense coffee and is truly one of those made-in-heaven kinds of things. #indonesiatrip this is located one with accommodation but it is open to the public. The concept is more like a cafe or restaurant because the menu is complete from drinks to food. The facilities are complete, there is wifi and the toilet is very comfortable. The area has indoor and outdoor in the front + back. I really like the interior design because it is unique and the combination of colors is also beautiful. Every angle is good for taking photos but the ambience is definitely not inferior either.

Stopped because I was curious about the swing-shaped chairs, they're so unique and perfect for photo spots. Besides that, there are many other Instagrammable spots here; the place is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, and there's plenty of parking too. We just ordered a few drinks, a hot latte and lychee tea. The hot latte was delicious, aromatic, and had a good coffee taste, but unfortunately, it wasn't very hot. In the morning, before engaging in various activities, I always make time to anchor at a coffee place in the Cisitu area while ordering a hot cappuccino. I never regret having coffee in the morning at this place, known as "biji kopling," as the cool air pierces the body and then gets neutralized by the intake of hot cappuccino. I remember back in college, every Saturday morning, I was willing to wake up early just so I wouldn't miss the "PANG" menu at biji kopling, which became its own motivation to wake up early.
