From someone who didn't like running to a life-changing nature trip
“I am not a runner, not a professional tourist.
But I have carried myself up the mountain with my two legs, through the rain, through the water.
And found that…the finish line of many trail runs is ‘a view that you can’t see from the main road.’”
⸻
📆 Retracing the 3 trail runs that changed me from someone who didn’t like running to someone who loved traveling.
⸻
🏞️ Waterfall Trail – Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam
The first 25-kilometer trail in my life.
Passing 3 famous waterfalls — Sarika, Wang Takrai, Nang Rong
And taking me up to the “Khun Dan Dam” with a view of the mountains and the beautiful lake.
I was so tired that I almost passed out, but it was the first time that I felt that
“Just seeing this…I don’t regret getting out of bed early in the morning.”
⸻
🏕️ Khlong Maduea Trail – Wading through water, wading through forests, near Bangkok
The second trail was also 25 kilometers.
But this time, it was more adventurous. There are small waterfalls, dense forests, and slippery rocks.
The narrow but beautiful trails give you images that you can never find on Google Maps.
Meet both serious runners and ordinary people who come to “prove your heart”.
⸻
🏔️ Khao Prathap Chang Trail – 32 km with unanswered questions
The last race in my running life (at that time)
32 kilometers through intricate mountains, rain, slippery, and having to pass through “Khao Bin Cave”.
“Tired to the point of crying, but proud every time I look back.”
⸻
💡 So why run?
Because it takes us to places that “cars can’t reach”.
Because it makes us be with nature “longer than we think”.
And because every step we take… is a journey that uses our hearts more than money.
⸻
🎯 Next goal: Buriram Marathon 2026
After stopping running for 8 years, I now weigh 105 kg.
But I decided to apply for a 42.195 km marathon in the next 6 months.
I don’t know if I can finish it.
But I will use this as a series to prove to everyone that
“Ordinary people, people who used to be fat, people who used to lose… can always come back.”
