Service is good and attentive. They are opened for both lunch and dinner. The terrace view seats are limited, there will be a queue for it especially during peak lunch and dinner hours. Be sure to go as early as possible for an early lunch or early dinner to secure the best spot in the terrace.

A beautiful tower with perfect Krumluv View!
The tower is open for public at 9am daily and be sure to go early in the morning to avoid the crowd and also the weather being too sunny. Entrance ticket for both the castle and tower is CK 180 per person. After touring the castle, you may go to another entrance for the tower. The stairs to the tower is quite narrow. But once you are up on the top of the tower, you will be amazed with the stunning view of Cesky Krumluv.

The grandest hotel in Cesky Krumluv
Cesky Krumluv is a very walkable town and everything is so near each other. Hotel OLDINN is very conveniently located in the center square and just 10 mins away from the main bus station. The entrance of the hotel is like entering a cave and the breakfast area is just next to the main entrance. The reception service is top notch. Room is spacious and clean with all needed amenities. Some really good restaurants and cafes are just located within the mini square outside the hotel.
No pool, no gym, no spa though. Should you wish to use a pool, you may use their sister hotel Ruze located about 6 mins walk away.

Czech town is worth a visit 🔆 So beautiful it will make you cry
|♨️The Czech town of Český Krumlov is well-deservedly known as one of the most beautiful towns in the world. This small town, with only 14,100 residents, is located in the Bohemian region of southern Czech Republic, upstream of the Vltava River, about 160 kilometers from the Czech capital, Prague.
♨️The deep blue sky and the gentle white clouds make the town dreamlike. You can see the panoramic view of Krumlov city by going up to Krumlov Castle. Explore the various Czech puppets in the Puppet Museum. The Gothic St. Vitus Church, built in 1439 and named after the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, is one of the landmarks of Krumlov.
♨️Krumlov can be casually walked around in no more than three hours. However, the terrain here is undulating, with mountains and water, and walking among these romantic buildings that have stood for centuries, the dreamy temperament felt is hard to describe. This small town is a pure and beautiful haven in the restless world.
🔆Château de Versailles
Built in 1204, the William Castle is the largest castle in the Bohemian region outside of Prague Castle. It has stood in Český Krumlov for nearly a thousand years and is incredibly impressive.
🔆St. Vitus Cathedral
St. Vitus Cathedral is the oldest and largest church in Krumlov, Czech Republic, built in the early 14th century as a place of worship for the local people. The architectural style of the church is mainly Gothic, with a fusion of Baroque style. It stands on the banks of the Vltava River, with its spires towering into the clouds, making it a magnificent sight.
🔆Czech beer
When you come to Czech Republic, be sure to taste the local beer. Although German beer is well-known, Czech people are actually the ones who love beer the most, so the beer here is also worth a try.

Place should not miss out in Czech Republic
Almost everyone who's visited touristy Prague loves this fairytale cityscape. But there are places that you should not miss out in Czech, there are lovely little town Krumlov and magnificent Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
Pravcická Brána (which translates to "the Prebisch Gate") is a natural rock formation that towers over 26 meters at the top of a hill and The Bastei Bridge both are spectacular. Both are breathtaking.

Picturesque town in Czech Republic
Cesky Krumlov is a town in the Czech Republic that we love so much. The town is amazing and absolutely should not be missed on a trip to the Czech Republic.
This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the town escaped the bombing in World War II, explaining why the old city is so well-preserved.
The city is very easy to walk through as it is small and compact and very photogenic.
The picturesque setting of a horseshoe bend river with a huge 'Disney style' castle is what Cesky Krumlov is famous for. The town has remained unchanged since the 14th century. This is definitely worth a visit if you are visiting Prague or Vienna.

Český Krumlov
Český Krumlov is a city in the South Bohemia region of the Czech Republic. It’s bisected by the Vltava River, and dominated by its 13th-century castle. Cesky Krumlov
The historic town of #ceskykrumlov is picturesque. It lies in the Czech Republic and has a huge 13th century castle. The town itself is fairly small and can be covered easily on foot. Good for a day or half day trip. There are also many souvenirs shops and some also sell traditional toys, restaurants and cafe to hang out and have a nice drink.
A walk along the river is also recommended as it is very scenic. You can also climb up parts of the historic castle for a visit. Public buses and tour buses go there.

This city is a delight to walk through. It is small and compact and very, very photogenic. It doesn't take very long to visit, just a few hours on the fastest of itineraries or worth an overnight stay on a longer visit.

Cesky Krumlov Castle
Cesky Krumlov Castle is a historic castle that is 700 years old. It is the second largest castle in the Czech Republic, second only to Prague Castle in the capital city of Prague. The castle has been under the control of three noble families who ruled the town. During both World Wars, Cesky Krumlov was not a primary target for attacks, so the castle was fortunate to remain undamaged and has preserved its original structure entirely. Inside, there are displays of various items such as dishes, bowls, tiles, and beautifully patterned glassware used in medieval dining rooms. Visitors can climb the narrow spiral staircase to reach a beautiful viewpoint of the town.

My favorite country, you must come here in autumn!
Unexpectedly, after visiting 30 countries, the Czech Republic is still my favorite country. When I went there that year, it was the National Day holiday. The pace of autumn is slightly faster than that in China. The romance of CK can only be known when you come.
-
Language: Czechs speak Czech, so there may be a little obstacle in language, but restaurants and other places are ok.
Transportation: You can take a train or bus between cities.
Recommended cities: Krumlov (CK), Prague
CK is definitely a treasure town. It is OK to live in the town center. You can walk around the city many times. CK recommends the bell tower, which can overlook the horseshoe bay. Next to the bell tower is the museum, where you can buy a joint ticket for a visit.
Prague recommends the astronomical clock, Charles Bridge, and castle. It is very convenient to live near the astronomical clock or Charles Bridge.
The characteristic of playing in the Czech Republic is "slow feeling". Don't worry about finding a scenic spot or a place to check in. Just let yourself go, have a cup of coffee, watch a performance, or sit in a daze in the square.

Friends who don't know where to play in autumn, collect it, the Czech Republic will definitely give you unexpected surprises.

Czech Republic. Cesky Krumlov.
Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic, a gem of South Bohemia, lies quietly on the banks of the Vltava River, 160 kilometers from Prague. Its history can be traced back to the 13th century, when the Vitek family built a castle and laid the foundation stone. Over time, the family changed, and the Schwartzenberg family left a deep mark during the ups and downs. After the Velvet Revolution, the ancient town was reborn, and the old was restored to its original state, showing the style of the 18th century.
The ancient castle is towering, second only to Prague, and the magnificent Renaissance and Rococo art essence are displayed. Climb up and overlook, the panoramic view of the town and the river view are all in sight. The stone slab street, the world heritage certification, the flowing water bridge and the embankment together depict the style of the ancient town, and walking in it is like a world away. The city hall square, a white three-story building, has no trace of years and a strong historical flavor. St. Vitus Cathedral, a blend of Gothic and Baroque, murals and pipe organs, dazzling cultural relics, and people stop. 2015.05.27

Český Krumlov / Secure 2days!!
Not gonna lie, Český Krumlov is the most beautiful village I've ever visited.
Every angle is attractive and breathtaking.
Just check how awesome the scenery is.
DON'T USE A 1DAY TOUR PACK FROM PRAGUE.
but stay at Český Krumlov for at least one night.
During the daytime, the village is packed with tourists and the beautiful river surrounding it is covered with noisy boat-enjoyers😅
Just sleep at 9 o'clock and wake up at 5 o'clock.
The grand bell in the church will go off at 7 o'clock in the morning and can wake them up. Early morning is quite comfortable to walk around and after 7am, just sleep till sunset time✨😌

Hluboká Castle in the Czech Republic
The castle is located on a hill by the Vltava River, and from a distance, it appears entirely white, hence the nickname 'White Castle.' The castle features a four-story structure with the highest tower being an eight-story clock tower. It has 141 rooms and has changed hands among 126 owners. The last owner fled to the United States in 1939, and the castle was reclaimed by the state. The exterior design of the castle is unique, combining Gothic, Baroque, and Windsor Castle architectural styles, and has been preserved for over six hundred years. The door handle is made of bronze, shaped like an 'eagle pecking eye,' which is the family crest of the castle's owner. The walls are adorned with specimens of bull heads and deer antlers, exuding a sense of solemnity and majesty. Currently, some rooms are open to the public, showcasing priceless room decorations and furnishings, tapestries, carvings, porcelain, woodwork, fireplaces, portraits, books, and more, all in extreme luxury! Preserved to this day, it tells the story of the castle's past and present, leaving visitors in awe!
It is recommended to visit the castle together with CK town in one day for a more reasonable tour.

Krumlov: A Fairytale Medieval Czech Village.
Czech Krumlov is a charming town located in the Czech Republic, about 2.5 hours' drive from the capital, Prague. Český Krumlov has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992 and has a long history. The construction of the town and its castle began in the late 13th century.
If you are a free traveler with ample time, you can visit the tourist office at the main square and purchase a Český Krumlov Card. This card includes tickets to 4 museums: the Castle Museum and Tower, the Regional Museum, the Fotoatelier Seidel Museum, and the Egon Schiele Art Centrum. It saves you more than 50% off the regular ticket price. If you stay at a local participating hotel for 3 nights or more, you can get the card for free.
The town center is quaint, and wherever you go, you can see colorful buildings. Restored murals are scattered throughout the town, buildings, and castle courtyards. Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture are found throughout the town.
The spire of St. Vitus Church dominates the skyline of this small town and can be seen from almost every position. Although there are several notable churches throughout the Czech Republic, interestingly, they are among the least religious places in the world, with only 10% of the population claiming to have a religious belief.
Besides the church, another most famous landmark of the city is the castle. Český Krumlov is small in size, but the castle is exceptionally large. It ranks second in size in the Czech Republic, only after the Prague Castle complex.
Climbing the stairs of the castle tower offers a magnificent view of the entire town. (Remember, this is included in the aforementioned Český Krumlov Card.)
During your visit to Český Krumlov, don't miss tasting trdelnik. This delicious pastry traditionally comes from Slovakia but can also be found in the Czech Republic and some other Eastern European countries. In Hungary, we call it "chimney cake." It's best enjoyed fresh and hot, sprinkled with cinnamon, sugar, and nuts.
Besides the buildings, shops, and other attractions, another aspect I appreciate about this village is the sense of adventure and nature it offers. A river runs through the town. If you visit in the summer, you can rent a canoe, kayak, or raft and enjoy rafting in the gentle waters.
Before I end this article, I would like to recommend some places to eat in Krumlov. Na Louži Restaurant, located near the main town square, offers delicious chilled beer and authentic Czech cuisine. Laibon is one of the few vegetarian restaurants in town, and after a few traditional Czech meals, you might want something lighter. It is located by the waterfront below the castle, making it a perfect place to enjoy delicious food and watch the rafts drift by.

Czech Travel Guide, my blind date said this is the place that made her cry
Once during a blind date, we talked about traveling and mentioned Prague, my date said it was a city that made her want to cry because it was just too beautiful. I think so too, Prague is filled with red rooftops, the statue-lined Charles Bridge, exquisite wall murals, and Kafka's blue little house, everywhere you can see mole and Švejk graffiti. It's indeed excessively beautiful.
Looking through photos, let's talk about Czech tourism:
1. Prague, there's so much to tell about this place, the first thing that comes to my mind is 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being'. Born in Prague, Charles IV was once the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, and he vowed to build the world's most beautiful city, hence the construction of landmarks such as St. Vitus Cathedral, Charles University, Charles Bridge, etc. Prague is suitable for walking tours, as the Old Town is not very large. Go to the square on the hour to see the Astronomical Clock strike the hour; it only lasts a few seconds, but the story is captivating, with the appearance of the twelve apostles of Jesus, the old man's sigh, and the skeleton's warning that death awaits us all. Two days are enough for Prague, the street murals are exceptionally beautiful.
2. CK Town, usually, a trip to the Czech Republic is Prague + CK, but if you ask a Czech about CK, he might not know, you should say Český Krumlov. It is known as the world's most beautiful small town, a location for many films and TV shows, picturesque at every step, or you can take a boat tour. It's best to spend at least two days here, as you'll miss a lot of beautiful spots if you're on a tour.
3. Hluboká Castle, a popular destination for tour groups. I stayed there for one night, and during dinner, they told me quite a few ghost stories. At night, staying alone on the lower floor, the lights went out halfway, the oil paintings on the walls seemed lifelike, and the bed faced a mirror... The Czech Republic is known as the 'Land of a Thousand Castles', with perhaps the highest number and density of castles in Europe.
4. Třeboň, if you make it here, you're already among the few. It's 30 kilometers from Hluboká Castle, mainly to see the castles of the Luxembourg family. Outdoor enthusiasts can rent bicycles to cycle around the lake. I've also heard interesting stories here, like why there were no female chefs in the Middle Ages, because they feared she might hide silverware in her body and take it away.
5. Pilsen, although it's the Czech Republic's second-largest city, it's quite rundown, resembling the old Soviet Union from thirty years ago. However, prices here are more than half cheaper than in Prague. Pilsen is most famous for its Beer Museum, and people here drink beer even more fiercely than the Germans, beer lovers surely know about Pilsner beer. The old Škoda factory is also here.
6. Generally, for a Germany-Czech-Austria tour, you can take a train from Nuremberg, Germany, to Pilsen or Prague, then to CK, and from CK you can share a ride to Salzburg, Austria. There are many carpool options in CK, to Venice, Hallstatt, etc., just look up the information to see how to get there. By the way, Nuremberg's sausages are quite famous.
7. Czech glass products are very famous, they are also sold domestically at high prices. It's better to buy them locally. When we passed through the small town of Tábor, we bought some.

The beauty of CK town is incomparable
Český Krumlov, commonly known as CK town, is a charming small town with a population of about 15,000 people. In 1972, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
The name 'Krumlov' in Latin and Old German indicates that the land is an uneven meadow. Approaching the outskirts of the town, one can see the ancient castle tower standing tall amidst the mountain mists. It is the second largest castle in the Czech Republic, after Prague Castle.
The town of Český Krumlov is embraced in a horseshoe shape by the wide and winding Vltava River, which flows from here towards the city of Prague. The entire town is centered around a 13th-century castle, which features Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles. Despite a history of 300 to 500 years, the castle still retains its medieval style.
