As we were traveling (budget friendly) thru Asia we often stayed in guest houses and BnBs. Local food is great, but sometimes we get to cook in the house/communal kitchen. We often make dal - Indian lentil soup - with lots of veggies added. Later, when we're eating out on the local economy, we compare tastes observing spices used, style of cooking, the different rices, sauces and grains. This adds to our understanding of local culture and presents a great opportunity to talk with all the friendly people. Coffee and donuts are OK too - once in a while. We've been to India numerous times. The experience impacts one every time - Taj Mahal, Rishikesh Yoga, Goa beaches. The old currency notes, though obsolete still hold value for the collector and for the memories. Rupees from 1 to 500 - even the old 1000 Rupees (replaced in 2016) - we rode the trains from Amritsar to Shimla to Jaipur and Jaisalmer - 2nd class sleeper as I recall for about 100 Rupees in the old days. i am staying at this hotel which is lazy frog in goa which has best amenities and worth of money which you spend and i have seen in goa people spend a lot for luxury but this hotel just cost me 40 Usd and it is wooden house with swimming pool and a open kitchen to enjoy the place and this is awesome and evening here in the pool and pool side was awesome and best place to relax and unwind yourself. this place suits for family and as well as new couples and solo travellers as well and this is great stay here and the staff was very polite and value for trip and great tourist places and provate beaches around this property
