#summervacay Monte Igeldo in San Sebastian, Pais Vasco was such a fun little adventure. I took the old-school funicular up the hill and honestly, that alone felt like a ride back in time. Once you’re at the top, epic views of the whole bay and the city spread out like a postcard. It’s the kind of view that makes you just stop and say “whoa” without even trying to sound dramatic. There's also this tiny vintage amusement park up there which is super quirky and nostalgic. Not really wild rides, more like charming old school vibes. I didn’t expect much but ended up loving the whole scene. Grabbed a snack, chilled on a bench, and just soaked it all in. Perfect spot for photos, relaxing, and getting a different angle of San Sebastian. Try to go near sunset if you can, the light hits the water just right and it’s pure magic. Super laid back, super worth it. Monte Igeldo’s a must if you’re in town.

#summervacay Okay, this place is straight out of a fantasy movie (yup, they even filmed Game of Thrones here). San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in Baquio, Pais Vasco totally blew me away. You hike up this insanely scenic stone bridge that twists and climbs like a dragon’s tail toward this tiny chapel perched dramatically on a rocky islet. The stairs? All 241 of them. My legs were crying but in the best way possible. The ocean was wild and moody the day I went, waves crashing below like nature’s soundtrack. It felt super mystical. Once at the top, I rang the bell three times like they say, it’s supposed to bring good luck. Even if it doesn’t, the view alone is worth the climb. Definitely wear good shoes, bring water, and maybe snacks because the path isn’t short. Totally recommend going early or later in the day for fewer people. San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a coastal gem that’s 100% worth the effort.

Spanish nature

A not so hidden gem of Spain! If you want “typical Spanish culture,” don’t go here - go to Madrid instead. If you’re open to experiencing Basque culture, seeing beautiful mountains, trying new foods, and hearing the Basque language, absolutely go here. Check out the city center, get a picture with the famous green sign, and drink a kalimotxo. #basquecountry #spain

So we went to see the Basque Country and went to bar for a some foodie. As in most of Spain you'll find pintxos/ tapas. But when you are in the Basque Country they call it pintos, so don't call it tapas or they'll get angry. Also, for most of our meals we ate at bars so we got to a point where we spent less then 20 euros on lunch. Sometimes, if we walked too much during the day, we'd eat a big meal but even then it would not be more than 25 euros. So in order to save money I highly recommend you to eat at bars. #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #foodie
