I went for a hike at Bukit Jugra and was pleasantly surprised by how beginner-friendly and rewarding it was. The trail starts gently through shaded forest paths, with signs guiding the way. It’s suitable even for casual hikers or those new to hiking. The full hike to the top takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on your pace. Along the way, you’ll spot some friendly macaques and hear birds chirping in the background—nature lovers will enjoy every step!
🥾 What to Expect:
A scenic sunrise or sunset view from the peak (go early!)
A well-maintained trail with forest shade
At the top, a stunning view of the Langat River, small fishing villages, and wide open skies.
You’ll also find the Jugra Lighthouse—perfect for photos and a quick history lesson. It used to guide ships along the Straits of Malacca!
🌬️ If you're lucky, you might even catch some paragliders taking off from the peak—it’s a famous paragliding spot!
