I honestly believe that Durban got this title because of The Boathouse. The food was amazing and I left the restaurant a very happy customer. I ordered a mutton bunny chow. The bunny was loaded with meat and extra grave. The meat was soft and the gravy was bursting with flavour. It was hands down, the best bunny I've ever tasted. In addition to the great food, the service was impeccable. Our waiter constantly checked up on us and was very professional. He also made sure to bring our food out as quickly as possible. We had a lovely stay at Canelands for just one night! Our room was really spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Plus, the views from our room were absolutely breathtaking!

To me, it is a 5 star restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant is one of a kind. It's pure class. It's ideal for families, couples and first dates. Yes, if you're trying to impress your significant other then please take them out on a date to fireroom. I ordered a chicken schnitzel and chips because I love anything chicken. The food took a little long to arrive but it tasted so good. I didn't mind waiting because the taste made up for it. They also serve delicious Sushi.😁 Please give this place a try if you haven't already. I guarantee you that you won't regret it.
