Another attraction in Badian, in the southern part of Cebu is the Kangsanto Spring. You can take a dip into its natural spring waters. They have inflatable floatees for those who want to use them. We were lucky to have witnessed a live band perform in the evening when we visited the place. It is just minutes away to other attractions so if you wish to visit Badian, better make the most out of it. Include this water attraction to your bucketlist and you sure will surely enjoy especially on a hot summer day.

Getting There - Go to South Bus Terminal (near E-Mall) Ride a bus going to Bato via Barili (Fare could range between P150-P170 one way). Travel time from Cebu City to Lambug Beach is 3 to 3.5 hours depending on traffic. Disembark at the corner heading for Lambug Beach, Make sure to tell the bus steward that you will disembark at the corner for Lambug Beach. From that corner, charter a habal-habal or tricycle to bring you to Lambug Beach. Attractions - Canyoneering, Beaching, Camping Hotels - There are a lot of hotels or hostels by Lambug beach. Food & Restaurants - Food stalls can be found by the beach and there are some restaurants around too. Shopping - You can shop first before going to Badian. Getting There - From Cebu to Badian the most convenient way is either taking the bus from the south terminal and it will take 3-4 hours or taking a taxi which will take 3 hours. I traveled with 5 other people and we hired a taxi (mini van) and it cost us 120PHP per person to get there. Attractions - Badian is close to Moalboal and Algeria , both small towns that’s absolutely beautiful. The beaches in this area is out of this world. From Badian you can also do a one day trip to Oslob from here and the homestay will help you to book a driver. It is super close to Kawasan Falls and definitely worth staying here if you are looking to relax Hotels - This is a homestay in Badian, it’s a shared house with different rooms. The kitchen, lounge area and swimming pool is shared spaces. It has a private beach. It’s not like a hostel, it’s a luxurious homestay and with 12-14 people you can easily rent the house and have it all to yourself. The service is amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Food & Restaurants - Closest western food is in Moalboal, otherwise there’s local food or a small restaurant next to the homestay which is very cute and intimate and the food is really good. Badian Resort, a German luxury Dokdo hotel, is located in Cebu, with beautiful scenery and first class service. You can enjoy your holiday without any interference. The back of the island is a very good snorkeling spot. With beautiful corals and colorful fish, the island's restaurants face the pool and are exquisite.

Considered one of the world's top three canyoneering courses, this impressive course offers thrilling hikes, swimming, cliff diving, and waterslides along beautiful turquoise canyons. Located in Badian, about four hours from Cebu, Kawasan is close to Oslob and Moalboal, making it a popular day trip destination. Personally, I recommend combining these two activities with a visit to Osmena Peak, Cebu's highest peak. 🚌 While most tourists choose to visit Cebu on a day trip package, local travel agencies offer much more affordable options. While taking a local bus can be a bit more inconvenient and take longer, I highly recommend this option for adventurous independent travelers. From Cebu South Terminal, take the bus to Verdian. Tell the driver you'd like to go canyoneering on Mount Kawasan. He'll drop you off at the canyoneering company. 🎫 The local canyoneering company charges a fixed price of 2,100 pesos for foreigners, and most companies offer similar prices. Since the policy is one guide per person, the price is quite high. Adding things like ziplines and GoPros can add even more. The company I booked included a meal after the canyoneering, but the food wasn't all that great. The guides were very friendly and took great photos, so overall, I was satisfied. However, since the company caters to locals, there were definitely some shortcomings for foreigners. 📍Canyoneering takes about 3-4 hours, and the afternoons are crowded, so I recommend going in the morning if possible. Please note that buses from Cebu South Terminal also depart early in the morning. The trail was very slippery, perhaps because it was the rainy season when I went. Most companies rent aqua shoes, but because so many people wear them, they weren't in great condition. Be sure to bring a pair with good traction. My first visit was a delight; taking a speedboat to reach the resort added to its island charm. The white sand beach is perfect for capturing aesthetic photos. They feature themed dinners and dances where you can join in at the end， which was the highlight of my stay. I had an amazing time—everything was superb!

The most amazing little island part of Cebu, the people were so kind and helpful and they made sure you were always taken care of. This has to be the best hands down amazing holiday ever! We stayed in a pool villa at Badian Island Wellness Resort. It was a wonderful stay, relaxing both physically and mentally, at a resort surrounded by beautiful nature. Rooms The villa with a private pool was spacious and had a natural tropical atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and there was a beautiful view from the balcony. The water temperature in the pool was just right, and it felt private, so you could relax. Facilities and Services - Spa: Experience the "Thalasso Spa", a specialty of Badian. The treatment using seawater was relaxing. - Restaurant: Enjoy fresh seafood and Filipino cuisine. The fruit at breakfast was especially delicious. - Activities: Snorkeling and kayaking are also available, so it is recommended for those who want to be active.
