1) I did a day trip from Barcelona but I feel you need at least a good 3 days to do Andorra justice 2) There are no airlines flying into andorra, to get that take a bus from either France or Spain 3) Andorra is a surprisingly good shopping destinations, so make sure you have ample luggage space and money ready. 4) Temperature can be a little chilly as it is 1000m above sea level, make sure you wear adequate clothings. 5) For shopping Andorra La Velle is the place to go to, there is a shopping district here with all kinds of shops. 6) Do take note of the season to go to as summer heat can be brutal and winter too chilly.

It's worth noting that although Andorra is located in Europe, it's not a member of the European Union. When you enter Andorra with an EU SIM card, you'll find no signal. In this case, the free Wi-Fi in surrounding shopping malls and hotels will come in handy, or you can purchase a local SIM card. If your phone is an international version, you can also use airalo's eSIM card to solve the network problem. Andorra is not a large country; it generally takes only one or two days to explore. The heart of the country is located in the central region, which is also the bustling city center. There are two main viewpoints in the north that are definitely worth a visit. One of them is an iron chain bridge, the second longest span in the world, which is quite spectacular. When I went there, due to time and weather constraints, I only visited this one viewpoint. When I reached the middle of the bridge, it suddenly started to rain and wind, so I had to turn back. This became a small regret of my trip. Transportation in Andorra is a bit unique. Ride-hailing apps don't work here, and Google Maps can't find bus routes. You need to use the local app "mou-te" to call a car. If you want to go to the northern viewpoints, you can take the L4 line from the city center and get off at the Paula de gel station. After getting off, continue walking forward for about 50 meters, buy tickets at the tourist center next to Carrefour, then walk back to the gas station and take the shuttle bus up the mountain. It's recommended to book tickets online in advance, otherwise, you might end up like me, asking several people before finding the ticket center. Because Google Maps doesn't work and the ticket center is relatively hidden, many online guides don't mention the specific ticket purchase location, so be sure to prepare in advance. Andorra is only a 3-hour drive from Barcelona. If you have enough time, you can start from Barcelona and visit Andorra for sightseeing and shopping, killing two birds with one stone. Since the network in some areas of Andorra is not good, it's best to download offline maps and plan your itinerary in advance so that you can travel smoothly even without internet access. In Andorra, you can not only admire the beautiful natural scenery and experience the unique charm of European towns but also enjoy the fun of duty-free shopping. If you come to Andorra to ski in winter, Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa is a good choice. #bucketlistreboot For those who are not renting a car, a solo traveller like me, who wants to visit Mirador del Roc del Quer, can only be done by bus travel. I took bus number L4 toward Canillo at the Mango outlet opposite the bus stop. You can take at any bus stop that got Bus number L4 that travel toward Canillo will do. The cost is Eur 1.90 per way. Dropped at Palau del Gel, the bus stop name will show at the screen. Walk on your left side, you will reach the tourist centre, where you can get the ticket. Tell them you need the Eur 14.50, that includes, the bus transport, suspension bridge and the view point platform, then walk back when you reach a petrol station, opposite is the bus stop to your destination. The bus 1st stop at suspension bridge, then to the Mirador del Roc del Quer. Every visitor will come to this place when they are in Andorra, to have a birdseye view of the town from above.

Like Seven Poetas Sculptures in front of the Consell General d'Andorra, Calidea and La Dama de Gel are formed by two sculptures. The Paris Bridge is one of Andorra La Vella 's emblems, linking both sides of the river together. The Noblesse du temps is a sculpture that was given to Andorra Government made in 1999. Public art and sculptures in centre of the capital city of Andorra La Vella make it like one big open air art gallery, its definitely worth walking by and checking it out.

I had ordered a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, a combination of ice blended Starbuck coffee, pumpkin pie flavored sauce and milk , topped with pumpkin pie spices- cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. You can ask for the delicious whipped cream, but i opt out. Tasting this seasonal drink in the only outlet in Andorra, buying the city mug as a souvenir. I cannot find an excuse to miss it

#bucketlistreboot Itàlia Pizzeria Rostisseria is located at AD 500 Andorra La Vella around 1 minute walk from Arthotel. I was sitting outside beside the river, the weather was just nice. I ordered one Pasta Ratatouille and an iced coffee. The staff are nice and friendly, the pasta is also not bad, only the iced coffee, they bring me a cup of ice and an Expresso, i need to pour it into the glass. Overall, the food is not bad, it total cost me Euro 15.80 not so expensive, if you are craving for Italian food, can pay them a visit.

#bucketlistreboot Alight at Barcelona Terminal 1, immigration and baggage complete within one hour. Follow the sign to take the bus i reserve for Andorra. If you are hungry, there are a number of restaurants at the arrival hall. The journey is from T1, to T2, then to Barcelona Saint station and takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes, including a check by Andorra Police at the checkpoint The only way to Andorra is by driving or bus, there are no trains and airports in Andorra. The nearest international airport is Barcelona, so I decided to plan a visit to this beautiful landlocked country.
