Lowest point on earth? Dead sea and Jordan!
Jordan! Wow, it was an unforgettable experience, full of ancient history, vibrant culture, and natural beauty. Amman, the capital, perfectly blends old and new. The Roman Theatre, standing in the heart of the city, was a glimpse into Jordan’s rich past, while the Amman Citadel offered sweeping views of the city, with ancient ruins that speak to centuries of history. Walking through the bustling streets, visiting local markets, and interacting with friendly locals gave me a true sense of the city’s character. The modern side of Amman, with its lively cafes, restaurants, and galleries, added to the dynamic atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the Dead Sea, a destination unlike any other. Floating in the Dead Sea’s buoyant waters was an extraordinary experience – the sensation of weightlessness is something you have to feel to believe. The mineral-rich waters and therapeutic mud are renowned for their health benefits, and after covering myself in the famous Dead Sea mud, my skin felt incredibly rejuvenated. The stunning, otherworldly landscape of the Dead Sea, with its sparkling salt formations and the surrounding mountains, created a serene and almost magical atmosphere.
Jordan, with its fascinating history in Amman and the natural marvel of the Dead Sea, offers a perfect blend of cultural exploration and relaxation. From the ancient ruins to the unique experience of floating in the lowest point on earth, this trip was a remarkable journey through one of the Middle East's most captivating destinations. I left with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for Jordan's rich heritage and natural beauty.

Colorful Muslim Countries Globally 🌍
Harar, Ethiopia 🇪🇹
Harar boasts 82 Qingzhen Temples and 438 Awaach (shrines for Islamic scholars). These colorful walls are an important symbol of religious and cultural preservation. The city walls, built between the 13th and 16th centuries, and its even older mosques, reflect a deep historical significance.
Amman, Jordan 🇯🇴
Rainbow Street is a well-known area in the capital, home to a variety of Arabic and international restaurants. Residents often spend time here with friends and family, making it one of the best places to get insight into the lifestyle and culture of Jordanians.
Tunisia 🇹🇳
Tunisian architecture reflects Ottoman influences, particularly in coastal cities where this impact is most pronounced. European influences have also been incorporated, especially through the import of construction materials from Italy, resulting in a unique architectural blend.
Istanbul, Türkiye 🇹🇷
One of Istanbul's gems is the neighborhood of Balat. As one of the oldest areas, it features wooden houses over 200 years old. Balat's colorful historic buildings and narrow streets offer a unique experience that feels worlds away from modern Türkiye.

Astonishing Historical Journey at the Amman Citadel
Visiting the Amman Citadel was an amazing historical experience. I enjoyed touring this magnificent archaeological site perched on a hill overlooking the city of Amman. It scorned the ruins of ancient civilizations such as Roman columns, the Temple of Hercules, and the Umayyad Palace. The unobstructed view of the city from the top of the fortress was fantastic, providing me with a great opportunity to take photos. Exploring the archaeological museum located at the site, I felt the depth of history and culture, learning about artifacts that date back to different eras. Visiting the Amman Citadel was a rich experience in history and knowledge, leaving an unforgettable impression of the greatness of the civilizations that have been conveyed on this land.
King Abdullah I Mosque: Amman’s Blue Mosque
Amman's skyline is adorned by the majestic King Abdullah I Mosque, a captivating landmark that reflects religious significance with architectural beauty. Completed in 1989, the mosque stands as a tribute to King Hussein's grandfather, King Abdullah I, the founder of modern Jordan.
The mosque's most striking feature is its impressive dome. Gleaming blue and adorned with intricate mosaics, the dome dominates the landscape and serves as a symbol of Islamic art and architecture. Beneath the dome lies the spacious prayer hall, capable of accommodating over 3,000 worshippers. The hall's octagonal design and lack of central pillars create a sense of openness and grandeur.

Jordan Archaeological Museum
This museum is located inside the Citadel in Amman Jordan. It’s definitely worth to visit. Not that huge place but still beautiful to see if you plan to visit Amman. Has also some amazing artefacts that date back to over 10000years old! You can see everything in around 20 minutes. #museum #travel #exploring #amman #Jordan #summer #history #Artefacts #trip #visit

🇯🇴 Back to the Past : Roman Theatre of Amman 🏛
Attraction: Roman Theatre of Amman
Location: Taha Al-Hashemi St., Amman, Jordan
Direction: Walk from city Centre/taxi
Opening Hours: 8am to 8pm
A visit to Roman theatre is like travelling back to the past, the theatre has a history of over 2000 years! The theatre was built in the style of many Roman theatres meaning it is built upon three levels and each section was divided by class and rule. It is the most well preserved Roman theatre to visit. It is still used currently for theatre events. There is also a small museum where you can see exhibits and learn history about ancient Jordan.
Tip: You can enter for free if you have Jordan pass.

Amman, A City Full of the unexpected!
Photos from my recent trip to Amman, Jordan. The city wakes up at night and the old town area near The Citadel and Temple of Hercules, which are both worth the visit especially during sunset and sunrise! During the night you can visit a lot of markets and restaurants that allows you to immerse yourself in Jordanian Culture.
Access to the temple and citadel is simple and there is a variety of ways up by walking however there is also a main entrance where you can park. To access The Amphitheater you have to purchase a ticket for a small price or it is included in The Jordan Pass.
I would advise taking at least a couple days when visiting Jordan to experience Amman, as the capital city it is great location to visit and I hope this post helps convince you!

Jordan Archaeological Museum
🌟Archaeological Museum: located on Castle Hill in Amman, Jordan, built in 1951, standing on the hilltop offers a panoramic view of Amman.
🌟The museum is very, very small, with a mini hall that collects Jordanian artifacts from prehistoric times to the 15th century, statues from 6000 to 8000 BC, a small collection of Dead Sea Scrolls from the Roman decline period, as well as ancient jewelry, pottery, and inscriptions of historical exchanges between various countries.
🌟Most of the cultural relics are not covered by glass, and are displayed in the open for three-dimensional viewing. Everything else is fine, except that the circular disk with heads of people around it is really a bit shocking.
📍Location: Al-Malek Ali bin al-Hussein Street, The Citadel
Amman's Roman Theatre
Amman's Roman Theatre is a 6,000-seat, 2nd-century Roman theatre. A famous landmark in the Jordanian capital, it dates back to the Roman period when the city was known as Philadelphia.
Sunset at Dead sea
We had a really long trip by car to arrive. With few incidents in between, we finally made it and the view as you can appreciate was incredible! big of a challenge to go and swim with the cold weather, but the adventure was worth all the struggle!
We were in Jordan, but could see Israel from our spot. the lights are night are magical! #travelinspiration

Discover beautiful Roman Ruins in the heart of the Middle East! You can get a unique perspective of the ruins by framing it through rocks,
If visiting Jordan the Dead Sea is an attraction that you should definitely not miss! The beaches are covered with salt, the views are amazing, and “swimming” in the Dead Sea is unlike any other place. I made Kempinski Hotel my “base” for several days and visited surrounding attractions while still enjoying the luxuries available at the hotel.

Jordan Castle Hawthorn
Castle Hill is the center of the old city, not only can see the entire old city, but also can see the world's highest flag flag of Jordan ~
in Amman, Jordan. Castle Hill, which rises from the old town, and the Clock Tower, which stands above it, have become the symbol of Graz. Looking at the castle hills and looking at the old town is a must for Graz.
Under the eyes of God, it is clear that two distinct cities are distinguished. In the eastern part of the city, an ancient city is located in the center of the city. The rolling hills and hills line the dense yellow and white houses, and the ancient traditions and conservative pulse are everywhere. Looking at the western part of the city, luxury villas, shopping malls and reinforced concrete urban forests occupy most of the chapters, and it is reminiscent of the modern look that has flourished.
Sunset may be the best time to enjoy Amman, and as the sunset changes, the white buildings of the city will shine more and more in the fading warmth. The ancient Roman theater under the Castle Hill in the old town was also taken back by the sun. In addition to the spectacular day, it began to become lonely and mysterious. People gathered in twos and threes to listen to the prayers from the distant mosque. The huge city propaganda posters are no longer eye-catching, fading away the sense of distance during the day, and telling the moving stories of the city in the dark.
Castle Hill is the commanding heights of Amman. It used to be the first fortress in Amman and is closely related to the history of Amman.
From the 11th century BC, the kingdom of Amon, who worshipped the Egyptian sun god, built the capital on the castle hill. Later, in 300 BC, the Macedonian kingdom built Philadelphia again, and the Arabs built it around AD. Amir Palace.
Castle Hill is the best place to overlook Amman. Ascending to the top of the mountain, the entire white buildings of Amman's urban area are scattered and lined up, especially in the evening. The whole city is slowly welcoming the night when the night is coming. It is really shocking.
The first thing after landing in Amman, the capital of Jordan, was to find a place to fill the stomach. The sufra restaurant we chose was in the form of a cave, and it was a very special Jordanian dish. It feels like Jordan dishes are similar to Moroccan dishes. The appetizers are a variety of salads that can be eaten with scones. The main dish is a variety of meats, and the desserts are more like the sweet style of Turkey.
The most special place in this restaurant is that the cakes are all baked, and the big brother of the scones gives us a live performance. The cake is flat when it is outside. It is especially interesting when it is plucked into the oven. This kind of cake is especially delicious when it is hot, and it will be inferior to the cold. In the following itinerary, there is no such hot cake.
The condiment bottle on the table is a small Middle Eastern man. It is really fun. Later, I saw this spice bottle in the crafts, um... not cheap.
Middle Eastern cuisine is like a big table, especially hard feeling
## The Rainbow Street during the day is cold and clear, and after the night it becomes the most lively area of Amman. The bars on both sides scream in the Middle East. It looks like a standard set of shisha at each table. The city is worth a visit, all kinds of handicrafts and souvenirs are sold here~
This ruin on the top of Castle Hill is the beginning of Jordanian civilization. In the eleventh century BC, a group of Egyptians who were abandoned after the defeat came to the place with the faith of Amon, and established their own small kingdom on the top of the mountain. It was called Abbas Amon.
Because Amman is located at the intersection of Europe, Asia and Africa on three continents, the military is in a battleground. Therefore, Amman has been subjected to foreign aggression many times in history. It was occupied by Assyrians, Persians and Greeks, and later became Rome. The province of the empire. After
West Asia was conquered by the Roman Empire, the Roman emperor routinely conducted a patrol of the land of the East during the coronation. One was to familiarize the manager with his land, and the other was to let the emperor's ceremonial ceremonies serve the Quartet. Anthony Asylum, one of the emperors, was on this tour, and after seeing the shape of the hill, he built a temple on the top of the mountain for his most adored Hercules, only from the few remaining today. The roots of the temple can be seen at the root of the temple.
Now I can find the hand of the statue of Hercules abandoned in the ruins. It is as big as two of me. When the conquered nomads saw the Hercules on the top of the mountain, it was the Holy Roman. The solemn momentum of the empire makes people feel uncomfortable.
