#wheretogo #england I had the opportunity to hike up Cat Bells a while back. At 1,500ft, It is a must-visit peak in the Lake District, known for its stunning panoramic views and accessibility. Hikers of various levels can enjoy its well-maintained trails, making it a great family-friendly adventure. The Cat Bells summit offers breathtaking vistas of the Lake and the surrounding fells of Maiden Moor and High Spy. It's an ideal spot for picnics, wildlife spotting, and capturing memorable photographs. Bower stone is 9 kilometers 15 minutes drive from Keswick, you can also take the bus 77/77A from Keswick. The stone is a gentle 10 minutes walk 1/4 miles from the main road. People say it weighs 2000 tons with a circumference of 90 feet. A wooden ladder is replaced by the metal in 2019. You can climb on the ladder to the top for a view and sit on top. One stone on the left side got small holes that can look through the other side. You can also practice your rock climbing skill below. In between the rock there was a hole that i marked with a red circle, people say if you can shake hands with the opposite side can bring you good luck, i try but cannot make it.
