Walking through the Central Plateau of Spain ~ Cuenca (Region)
This Catholic church, built in the 13th century, features two naves separated by pointed arches and ribbed vaults. Its 16th-century Plateresque-style open midday façade and the bell tower attached to the church are particularly striking, with a passageway left beneath the tower. Over time, the temple underwent various renovations, evolving from a single-nave Romanesque church to the addition of a second nave, a porch, a tower, and two small chapels in the 16th century, and finally, the construction of the last chapel in the 17th century. It is now open to the public as a tourist attraction but is no longer used as a place of worship.
