It took almost 4 hours to get here from Manchester (taking 2 different trains) but I've never seen somewhere so stunning 🥰 In the morning: 🏰 Head towards the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle, with views of the North and South beach. Experience a quiet patch of greenery away from the hectic train station 😌 🍨 Get an ice cream on the sea front, taking in the lovely surroundings. Beware of seagulls 🧐 🏛 Walk towards Aberystwyth's University building near the pier. One of the town's oldest buildings, yet so many photo opportunities 📸 In the afternoon: 🚊 Take the heritage tram up Constitution Hill, seeing Aberystwyth from above. If your intrested in the history of photography, pay to go inside the camera obscura. Or, have a quick game of bowling 🎳 📖 Walk up to the Welsh National Library, one of the most stunning buildings I've ever been close up to. The view of beach and sunset is a big plus for this little town in West Wales. However, the poor hotel experience makes the trip quite disappointing. It is not clean, and the room is much smaller than expected. There are not many good restaurants.
