As most commenters said, the facility and furniture are indeed with certain ages. Location is good and window outside view is fabulous. The staff are nice except one male reception staff is a bit severed, he insisted the breakfast last order is 8:00am as both dinner and breakfast are sets for each person and well prepared on the table before your scheduled time. It is too early compares to global standard especially for a family with a 5 years old child,we were trying to require for the later timeframe but he shaked his head with no further assistance,while by next morning I saw there was another table guests arrived after 8:20am but their meal is also well-prepared on the table awaits for them. The food is very Japanese local style,fresh and special with different spices,good for a try

Good customer service and the environment was very beautiful with scenic decorations. The hotel was located near the tourist spot - the 金鏻湖 and the 湯之坪街道 so it’s super convenient The food served was local Japanese food and was also very nice. It’s a wonderful experience and our stay there was very worthwhile.

It's a great place to enjoy hot springs The location is good walking distance from the station. I ate at the restaurant by showing my key and the course meal was delicious. Free wifi is fast The TV is not as good as a newer hotel and has few channels. But I don't think anyone will come to Yufuin to watch TV. The hot springs are shared, and it was very nice to have a different a**osphere. The sulfur smell was not too strong and was subtle. The building is old, so you can hear people talking and walking upstairs. Also, since it is next to the railroad, it is noisy due to the sound of the railroad passing by. Because the hot springs are available at night, Suo is a bit noisy as there are public restrooms and hot springs next to it. You must take this into account

There is a super sumptuous breakfast and dinner every day, and the service is also super good. The hotel has a great atmosphere, the floor heating is fully turned on, and there are free eggs, beer, and tea, but the dinner is so full that I can hardly eat it. The room also has everything, including a Nespresso coffee machine, a Dyson hairdryer, and some bottled lotions. The public hot springs are open 24 hours a day, so they are often reserved. They took a photo for us before dinner on the first night, posted it and gave it to us. On the last day, we misjudged the train time and almost missed the train. The front desk of the hotel helped us get a taxi, which arrived in less than ten seconds. It was so fast.

The Japanese auntie who just walked in was serious, but she patiently called me over to tell me the itinerary, and stipulated that dinner would be at 6 o'clock and breakfast at 8:30. I had to eat on time. Believe me, the price in the peak season is also cost-effective. It is really beautiful and delicious. The staff is gentle and polite. The room is clean and the room with a bathroom will come with a small private bath, which can be added with some cold water. Their hot spring water is so hot that it is almost cooked... The riverside path from the hotel to Yufuin Town is really beautiful, don't miss it!

After arriving at the station, we called the hotel. In less than 10 minutes, the hotel's shuttle bus arrived at the designated location to pick us up. The room was quite large, and the view outside the window was also good. The store manager spoke very fluent English with almost no accent, and the information he gave was clear and concise. The hotel is at the foot of Mount Yufuin, which is a bit away from Yufuin Station. After visiting the town every afternoon, the old man will pick you up by car. After checking out, you can send it to the station. The traffic is basically no problem. The rooms are large and clean, and the facilities are a bit old. The soup is very comfortable, which is the highlight of the hotel. The front desk will help with luggage and turn on the air conditioner in advance. There is a private bath (each person can make an appointment for 55 minutes at night, and reserve 5 minutes for the next guest), which also gives people a quiet place 3. The breakfast is Japanese breakfast, which I think tastes good and has a lot of details. At the end, there is a cup of drip coffee 4. The hotel has a luggage delivery service, and the luggage can be sent to the passenger service area of Yufu Station (600~800yen per piece of luggage). The check-out of hotels in Yufuin is generally very early (10 or 1030), which is very suitable for friends who don’t want to drag luggage and want to hang out 5. The service of the clerk is very meticulous. The luggage will be cleaned when it comes to the door. Although there is no elevator, it is carried by the clerk.
