The both the indoor and outdoor onsens for the ladies were superb, not sure about the men’s, but there’re two outdoor onsens for guys. Location is quite easy to find if you’re driving, might need to take a taxi otherwise as it’s not walkable. Food was just ok, but the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed here because it's located near Lake Kinrin. There were a lot of people heading to Lake Kinrin in the morning, so I was able to find it without getting lost. The lobby had a relaxing space like a cafe, and the room was stylish, so I was excited the moment I entered. The hot spring is reserved for one group at a time, so there is a wait time when someone is in the bath, but the luxury of having a large hot spring all to yourself is amazing. They changed the bath mat before I got in, so it was clean and comfortable to use. Even after I returned, I remember how great everything was. I would like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

As most commenters said, the facility and furniture are indeed with certain ages. Location is good and window outside view is fabulous. The staff are nice except one male reception staff is a bit severed, he insisted the breakfast last order is 8:00am as both dinner and breakfast are sets for each person and well prepared on the table before your scheduled time. It is too early compares to global standard especially for a family with a 5 years old child,we were trying to require for the later timeframe but he shaked his head with no further assistance,while by next morning I saw there was another table guests arrived after 8:20am but their meal is also well-prepared on the table awaits for them. The food is very Japanese local style,fresh and special with different spices,good for a try

Fall in love with this place, will definitely come again in the future. The hotel is very clean and tidy, convenient location. All the staff are very friendly and professional, only thing is that they are not very good at English, so it will be better if you can speak Japanese or prepare AI translations all the time. A traditional onsen hotel, facilities there are a bit old (or Japan style?). There are public and family onsen there, good for families and couple. And there are unlimited Beer/ Coffe bar there, you can enjoy yourself after onsen. But since it’s quite remote, there are some insects in room and the public area, may be a problem to someone who really scared insects. And the toilet ventilation system is a problem too. But it’s a good onsen hotel next to the lake, it takes only 5mins walk to the lake.

Our ryokanl booking came with sukiyaki dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the dinner very much but had to skip the breakfast due to our tight schedule. The ryokan had a cosy atmosphere, almost as if like we were staying at a good friend's house. There were a few cute and friendly cats which were mostly hanging around the courtyard and reception area. Nice onsen private onsen baths. Wished that the ryokan had provided luggage stands for us to put our luggages instead of us having to place our luggages on the floor and on the sofa.

How cost-effective it is. Small business. There is a pick-up service after 3pm. We will take you to the station when you leave. There are only 6 rooms. Basically no one is using the public hot springs. You can go in at any time. It is no different from private ones. The meals are like family dishes. There are Mandarin-speaking work-study students. No need to worry about communication problems.

This is the failure of the blind hotel selection for this trip to Japan. . In fact, there are many other hotel options in the town. All aspects are very good. My husband and I are very satisfied. Although there is no courtyard and the location is a bit far away, it is worth it. The hotel will have a special car to pick you up. Just call in advance to confirm. It was really really good.. I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it was so much better than I imagined, and if I ever get another chance to go to Yufuin, I'd go to Tamayura again! This isn't an ad^^. The kaiseki had such a mediocre rating, but it wasn't anything to worry about. I was so full and the food was so good that I couldn't even eat the sushi I bought at the mart properly. Breakfast was also really delicious. In particular, all the fish dishes were delicious! The facilities were also really good. There were some reviews saying it was cold, but the room was warm when the heater was turned on! However, since the shower area isn't indoors, it might be cold if you go in the winter. However, it's the best in this weather. Basic amenities are provided, and there are yukatas! And the best thing is that the owner and staff are so pretty and kind! They even used a translator to communicate with us and treated us so well, I felt good the whole time I was there ㅎㅎ It's been a few days since I came back, so I'm just writing a review now I hope the owner's wife and daughter read this review and remember us ㅎㅎ It was really the best! I highly recommend Tamayura! The best!!!!

Although the distance from the station is very close, the road is Chadora, so it is recommended to take a taxi. The breakfast was very delicious, so I regret not booking with a plan including dinner. Even though it is a semi-open-air bath, the cold wind is enough and thanks to the mini garden outside, the scenery and the sense of openness are not unfortunate. Because I like to travel, I have been to many hotels and five-star hotels, but I can get the first hand to be kind and kind service. great experience This time I am traveling alone But I get very warm care from here There are a lot of cute touches everywhere in the hotel room + public areas The whole building is very beautifully designed Most of the walls are water molded But paired with wood and cute graffiti, the overall feeling is trendy and warm. There is no bathroom in the room, but there are three independent bathing areas on the first floor (you can bathe by yourself by locking the door) The front desk is very friendly and helpful It happened that the restaurant was closed for dinner and he recommended it to me + called to make a restaurant reservation. The recommended restaurants are also great! It's a pity not to have dinner But we had breakfast the next day, which was a Japanese buffet breakfast. Saury + white rice is really delicious! The accommodation is beautiful, the surrounding atmosphere is good, and there is an onsen hot spring to soak in. The food is delicious. **But what I am not very impressed with is the control of other service providers. Mostly, 99% on the day I stayed were Koreans who were not very polite. They did not know even the etiquette and rules of using the public hot spring. I am not sure if the owner of the accommodation has informed the rules of using the hot spring, which is something I cannot accept. They were loud, threw the earbuds on the floor, and were not orderly. They also wore shoes in the common area of the dressing room in the hot spring. I was very disappointed. It was a rather disappointing vacation, even though it should have been a good day for me. I lost the mood to soak in the atmosphere. I did not even have the heart to take pictures of the atmosphere with the accommodation.
