I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There are few amenities in the dressing room. [Meal] Private room in the dining hall with evening breakfast. Dinner and Bungo beef steak were soft and delicious. When I entered the private room, I was already prepared for sashimi and baked fish on the table. There may be corona measures, but the baked fish was cold, so it was a little disappointing. There was breakfast, hot tofu and specialty ryukyu. There was a matcha and sweet service at check-in. It is good to spend a leisurely time walking to Lake Jinxi. I just felt that it was not as expensive.

It was the second accommodation in Yufuin, but the service and ryokan facilities were much better even though the price was cheaper! The ryokan was one indoor, one in an open-air bath, and two in total, and it was nice to be able to go inside and outside. The staff are very friendly, from check-in to check-out, I live in a good mood ~ ~ breakfast and coffee are the best! I want to go again next time recommend!! It's quiet enough to walk from the station and the surrounding scenery is so pretty ♡

It will be the second place to stay in will style. The location is relatively close to Yuno Tsubo Kaido Road, but it is on the slope, so I think it is hard to walk if you are not cheerful. The surrounding area was very quiet and cool in the residential area. Amenities and facilities were clean and comfortable as well as other series. Overall very satisfied, but only one point, the washing machine here is vertical, so the drying ability cannot be expected. I can dry because there is a bathroom dryer, but I was able to dry it quite easily because it was a drum washing dryer in Rakuten will style I have been to. I thought it was good to have a drying function because it was quite Merritt that there were few washing from the trip if it was a child.

You have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the lobby, and hotel staff will help you clean the wheels of your suitcase when you enter. From the lobby to the elevator, you can go directly to the hotel room upstairs and downstairs, which is a very special experience. The breakfast was rich and the room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Service was very good. Parking was an extra 550 yen per day. Breakfast was Japanese style but did include a bacon and egg cooked in front of each guest with the small Japanese hotpot. Our room fit 3 adults was very nice with clean modern amenities consisting of one room with two single beds, and a sizable living room with futon in the evening for the third bed. Nice view of Beppu tower in our room. Hotspring outdoor was totally enjoyable with a view of the sunrise and the Beppu Bay. Gotta be careful though because for ladies, someone in a boat at the bay might be able to see our naked upper bodies with telescope if we stand up.😅

We booked 2x Japanese rooms for 3 nights, over the rugby period. Obviously all hotels were charging a premium, but having booked 12 months in advance, at a cost of virtually £2,000 (excluding breakfast and dinner), I expected the hotel to be pretty good. The staff were very pleasant, but the communication was a problem - appreciate that this is our fault as much as theirs! The rooms were very shabby in our opinion, the furniture was badly marked and it didn't seem very clean. The worst problem was the smell in one of the rooms though, the staff told us it was from the tatami matting, but it clearly wasn't, as the other room had the same floorcovering and didn't smell. We ended up thinking it was the drains - but it was very unpleasant. The bathroom was pretty basic, and not well maintained - dirty grout around the tub etc. We stayed at 5 other hotels in Japan, and generally the standard was as expected - this was the only disappointment when considering cost vs. quality. The futons were more comfortable that I had expected - I slept really well.

I originally chose this hotel because of its favorable price and good reviews. Unexpectedly, the hotel itself is very old, with a lot of dirt and decay on the walls. Although the toilet and bathroom are separated and the wet and dry separation design is very good, there is a bit of a smell because there are no windows and an exhaust system. In fact, the bed is relatively clean and can be seen. We have gradually replaced the room supplies, such as air conditioners and electric kettles, which are relatively new, but the tea cups, chairs and small tables are very old and have not been replaced. The most worrying thing is the Japanese-style floor mat; there is a lot of dirt and it is very uncomfortable to sleep on the floor at night. I feel uneasy and afraid that small insects will come to me. In addition, the bed is very thin and the hard floor is really hard to sleep on. But it also has advantages. The room is well-equipped and the space is large. If the sanitary environment can be improved, it will be renovated. , with this convenient location and large shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, I will still come back!

空港から湯布院にレンタカーで向かっている最中に運転に必須メガネのレンズが片方外れてしまい、夫は昼食でビールを飲んでしまっていたので代わるわけには行かず、コンビニでミニドライバーを探すも見つからず、チェックイン前でしたが伺って、ドライバーをお借りできるかお願いしました。 探して下さいましたが合うサイズの物はなかったのですが、売っていそうなスーパーやホームセンターの場所を地図に印を付けて教えてくださいました。 無事見つけて、金鱗湖を回ってチェックイン時間に伺うと、「ありましたか？」と心配してくださっていました。チェックイン後、チェックアウトまでどのスタッフさんもみなさん感じ良く親切にしていただきました。 お部屋はスタンダードツインで8畳でしたが、50代の夫婦には充分な広さで、お部屋の半露天風呂や畳&低床ベッドでゆっくりできました。曇り空でしたが、由布岳の眺めはとても良かったです。 夕食も朝食も地元の素材いっぱいでとても美味しくいただきました。冷蔵庫の無料のサイダーも美味しかったです。 また由布院行けることがあったらお世話になります。
