Xiangdian B&B is the one I would like to recommend to my friends the most among all the B&Bs I have stayed in. The design of the B&B is very stylish, the view from the window is beautiful, the room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, especially with floor heating, which is especially comfortable in winter. I had several meals in the B&B, all of which were very delicious and reasonably priced. The Western food for breakfast was delicious. It was a very satisfying experience.

I love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

The environment is good, clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quite quiet. However, the sound insulation of the door is a bit poor, and sounds can be heard from the corridor.
There is an independent balcony and there is no light pollution nearby at night. If the weather is good, you can probably take pictures of the stars.
Breakfast is one serving per person. If you don't have enough eggs and corn, you can add more. It's quite rich.
You can order food to be delivered to the room, and the taste is still good.
shortcoming:
There was not enough hot water during peak water hours. Even when I took a shower in mid-May, I even turned it to the hottest setting and it was so cold that I shivered.
Doors and windows must be closed when entering or exiting, otherwise flies may fly in.
Food was delivered to the room. It took an hour from ordering to eating, which was too slow.

During the Chinese New Year, a room costs more than 600 yuan, which is a bit expensive, but overall it is ok. If you come during normal times, it is still recommended. The downstairs is lively and it is also close to Duoyishu. The hot water is very hot. Parking is a bit difficult. The room is too dark. The air conditioning is ok. I was in a hurry to watch the sunrise in the morning and didn't have breakfast. I don't know how the breakfast was.

Having stayed in so many hotels and B&Bs, this one can really be called a treasure niche ceiling! The navigation provided by the B&B housekeeper is accurate. She will drive a small tram to the parking lot to pick up and drop off luggage. On the way to the B&B, you will pass through the entire village. The people are less simple than Azheke. You can watch the little ducks crossing the river on the country road. . The most amazing thing is that the location of the B&B is simply perfect! ! Sitting on the entire terraced field, the room has seamless floor-to-ceiling windows, and the interior is modern and simple, with tea sets, straw hats, straw baskets and various props. You can also take photos in Hani clothes for free. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and you can eat a whole bowl of red rice! What Duoyishu looks at is the overall grandeur, then here is a secret adventure where you can go directly to the ridge of the fields. In the evening, the housekeeper will take us on foot to the observation deck of the village to watch the sunset. The sparkling waves can be seen. We can book the entire private treasure spot at the sunset by ourselves. We don’t have to compete with anyone for a seat. This is simply the highlight of our trip to Yuanyang Rice Terraces! You can also watch the stars on the terrace in the evening, the sea of clouds in the morning, make tea around the stove in the afternoon, weave Hani auspicious hand ropes, copy sutras in a daze, and drink tea under the trees. Although you are in the quiet village, you will not feel uncomfortable for a minute. Boring, if the perfect score is 10,000 points, I will give 1w5 hundred points! !

I booked a terraced view room for my parents. I originally looked at the picture and imagined that I could drink tea in the room and enjoy the view. However, when I arrived, I found that the room was completely different from the picture. There was no tea table and no floor-to-ceiling window view. There was a wall behind the TV. There is a small balcony but there is no privacy outside facing other buildings.
Breakfast is okay, rice noodles, eggs and steamed buns are enough to fill you up. On the first night to watch the sunrise, the hotel also arranged for breakfast to be eaten at Azheke, so that we didn’t have to go back and forth, which was great.

Yiqiutian Inn was newly opened in August last year. The facilities are very modern and the decoration is also good. It is especially clean and hygienic. The proprietress and the boss are very enthusiastic and responsible. They helped us upgrade the view room so that we can see the terraced fields outside from the room. They came and went to help us carry our suitcases upstairs. When we left, they also enthusiastically gave us red rice. They responded to our needs in a timely manner and provided relevant information about going out to see the terraced fields, which saved us from unnecessary detours. It was a very good stay experience. The Yuanyang Terraces are really beautiful and this trip is very worthwhile. Thanks to the boss and the proprietress for their enthusiastic service. GGuest UserThis cute no-thrill place is run by a lovely young Chinese couple; they are very charming and super helpful (offered free sunset sightseeing trip, organised very good value trip to Kunming airport).
The room I stayed in was nice, overlooking the rice fields and with a huge bathroom. For the cool nights, there is a cozy electric blanket.
The rooftop offers great views on the Duoyishu Terraces, and there is even a small restaurant where the owners will cook some delicious food for you.
The hotel is located at the bottom of the very typical Pugao village where you will experience the real villagers life and come across water Buffalos.
NB : The Duoyishu Terraces Scenic Spot (多依树梯田景区) is only 10/12 minutes walk from the hotel.

GGuest UserIt was already half past three when we arrived. We were hungry. The landlady asked us if we had eaten. It happened to be the Dragon Sacrifice Festival of the local Hani people. I didn’t expect to have a sumptuous and delicious local banquet. It was such a surprise. .
The landlady was very talkative, haha, and she told us this and that with great enthusiasm, which made us feel at home😆😆.
We were going to watch the sunset in the evening of the day we went there. By coincidence, as soon as we arrived at the observation deck and took two photos, a heavy fog swept up within two minutes. We couldn't see anything. It was still foggy until we left the next day. It’s not gone, Wei Wei feels a little regretful. But this experience here is really great. I will definitely come back next time!
As for the other facilities of the B&B, I have no faults. The hygiene and bed comfort are both very good!

GGuest UserThe inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

Although the room is not big, the design style is bold, the open bathroom, the bathtub, etc. We also saw it for the first time. They answer the phone very quickly and can solve any questions in time. During the Spring Festival, it was very difficult to park at night, but the little boss was very helpful and helped me park. The little boss cooks delicious food. I had lunch and dinner, and the food was easy to order. The red rice was hot. It is not easy to open the mountain road to enter the terraced fields, and it cannot follow the standard requirements of hotel chains. People with mysophobia feel that hygiene has been taken very seriously, and there are electric blankets. The little boss was very enthusiastic and recommended the market and tourist routes. I was very satisfied. Pugao Old Village is still very beautiful. There is a small square where you can see the terraced fields and go down to the terraced fields. There is no elevator or air conditioning. Rice noodles are provided for breakfast, and the parking fee is also included. We are responsive to all requests and provide 100% service with a smile.

TTravis and ElishaWhat a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea.
Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset.
There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great.

2202***65This is my second time to visit Yuanyang Rice Terraces. The overall viewing is good, especially the Duoyishu and Laohuzui attractions. The only drawback is the smoke, especially in Bada. The smoke is heavy and the villagers are burning, which affects the shooting effect. The sanitation in Jingkou Village needs to be improved and is far behind Azheke.

Azheke Village
水水漫三楼Azheke Ancient Village Scenic Area is one of the core Hani terraced villages in Yuanyang.
