"An unforgettable stay with a wonderful family
We spent our stay at this hotel as a couple and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which immediately created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. What was particularly great was that our host, despite our lack of Chinese, was very keen to explain a lot about the area and give us valuable tips. Thanks to the translator app, this worked really well. He and his wife are incredibly kind and make every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible without making us feel cramped.
A real highlight was our room. The view of the surrounding rice terraces was breathtaking! On a clear morning, you can witness a true natural spectacle. The glass front of the room offers a fantastic view. If you want a little more privacy, you can simply draw the curtains.
This honestay is the perfect place to experience traditional Hani life and, in the truest sense of the word, slow down. Our hosts took us to the market in the neighboring town and explained the local specialties to us – it was a wonderful experience.
The room itself was particularly comfortable: A heated mattress that could be individually adjusted ensured cozy evenings in bed while also allowing fresh air into the room. The stay was so pleasant that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay by a day – and that was absolutely the right decision!
We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation. Many thanks again to our wonderful hosts – you made our stay unforgettable!"

FFeibendemadaThe homestay is very distinctive, the style is very special, simple and comfortable, the room is very large, especially quiet, it is the feeling of living in the mountains. You can see a beautiful view in the room, there is a particularly large floor-to-ceiling glass, the view is particularly good, you can drink tea by the window, read a book, and watch the scenery, especially comfortable, the bedding is also very comfortable.
Not far away is the original ecological village of Hani, and there is a viewing platform known to locals in the village, with few people.
There is coffee and tea on the first floor, and there is also a sun room. It is very comfortable to sit and see the scenery.
The boss is very good, will take the viewing platform in the village, better than the viewing platform to buy a ticket, photographed the extremely beautiful sea of clouds terraces.
The most amazing thing is that the food here is very delicious. You must try it. It is the food made by the local Hani sister. It uses local ingredients and local chicken, as well as local red rice and red rice noodles. It is not oily or salty. The magic is that the taste is particularly good, and the children like it very much. It will also be served according to the taste of the children. The children have eaten here in the past two days.
I spent a particularly happy two days here! Highly recommended ~
GGuest UserPerfect experience at Flowers. Sam is very dedicated and helpful, room was very large, perfectly clean and the view beautiful.
The location is perfect to start very nice hikings.
LLindaSuperIt was a pleasant stay in Hua wowo hotel. Air quality was super good there. It was the best place for watching the sunrising in the yard or in the room of the hotel, very nice view. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet place for holidays. Hotel restaurant offered local planted vegetables and local raised fishes from the terraces. The owner and other staffs of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will choose the same hotel if we visit again.
GGuest UserJackys Guesthouse is in a very beautiful spot, the views from the rooms are stunning. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Jacky has fluent English. was available to help us plan hikes in the area , book rides and was very helpful in everything. Food was great too!!
Definitely would go back to his guesthouse.
GGuest UserWe went to Banna and transferred to Yuanyang. The children liked this place very much. The lady at the homestay chatted and sang with the children. The children were very excited after hearing all the flattery. The village is basically inhabited by local farmers, and the children are having a great time strolling around the village feeding chickens, pigs and cows. If the weather is warmer, I would like to stay a few more days.
AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'
AAnonymous UserThe boss is a lady from Henan Province. She is very welcoming. Before I left, she introduced a chartered car driver to me and reserved an electric blanket for my room. After arriving, we were introduced to the free viewing area and could order food and cook at any time. But to be honest, the room was still a bit cramped and there was barely enough space between the beds. I heard that the voltage on the mountain is unstable and there are always power outages. I also caught one this time🙈
The inn is not far from the Duoyishu Observation Deck, and it only takes ten minutes to walk there. There is a village below, where you can go down to the terraced fields and take a stroll.
After I went there, I realized that the price and quality of accommodation at Yuanyang Rice Terraces vary greatly, especially during holidays, so it depends on your personal preference.
野野らくだMy husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful memory.
The window of our room overlooked the rice terraces, and we were able to wait for the sunrise in a warm room.
We went to watch the sunset at the Bada rice terraces, about 8km from the inn, but we were unable to find a car to get back, so we contacted the hotel and the owner came to pick us up in his car.
We enjoyed delicious Hani home cooking made with fresh vegetables, and spent two days surrounded by warm hospitality and smiles.
It is about a 10-minute walk from the Tayoki observation deck, but if you stay in a room with a view of the rice terraces, you won't have to reserve a spot for the sunrise, so I highly recommend it for those who want to stay and relax.
Hhong7156Located in the Pugao Old Village in the Duoyishu Scenic Area of Yuanyang Terraces, it takes about five or six minutes to walk from the parking lot to the inn. Call the inn in advance and ask someone to pick you up. It is easy to go wrong when you first come.
The room we stayed in was neat and clean, and the bathroom was large. Unfortunately, there was no door, but it didn't matter if it didn't face the room. Slippers and towels are provided, but you must bring your own toiletries.
The room is great. You can see the terraced fields from the glass window while lying on the bed. You can lie on the bed and watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, we stayed there for two nights because of heavy fog and did not see the sunrise. I will stay here again if I have the chance to make up for it. My regret.
The innkeeper is very enthusiastic and talkative, and even goes out to pick up guests who arrive very late at night.
The last three photos were taken in the room.
LLezaiyuzhiMaybe because it was the off-season, there was no one at the counter when we arrived in the afternoon, so we had to go back to the car and wait because of the rain. It wasn't until a little brother came back that he went upstairs and asked someone to check in. The room is average, but it is still clean, the hot water is not hot, fortunately it is summer now. The restaurant downstairs is closed, so it is inconvenient to eat. You have to drive to a nearby restaurant to eat. I don't know how the breakfast is, because the restaurant is not open, but an old lady should be the mother of the boss! They said they could cook it for me, but it didn't work for me. Generally speaking, I feel that it is not in business and I do not recommend staying here unless it reopens, but there is no elevator, and it is inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. The parking space is at the door, so you can park 3~4 cars!
