Hotels in Yulong River National Tourist Resort, Yangshuo

We had a great stay because of the location we didn't trust much about this hotel before we entered, but surprisingly, the room was very clean, the staff was good and helpful. It was a bit noisy not from the street, but from the neighbors, we traveled during the May holiday, which is a very crowded time. In general, it is a good hotel, very close to the West Street and also surrounded by lots of restaurants.

We stayed at Four Seasons Fairyland in Yangshuo and overall had a pleasant experience. Initially, we were checked into a room that wasn’t quite ready — it had an unpleasant smell and didn’t meet cleanliness expectations. However, the hotel handled it very well and upgraded us to a much larger, more comfortable room. The upgrade was a nice gesture, and the room we eventually stayed in was spacious, quiet, and great to come back to after a full day out. The daily breakfast was decent — while the menu doesn’t change much, the variety was fair, and we never left hungry. Waking up to views of the iconic karst mountains of Yangshuo each morning was truly special and made the stay feel grounded in the natural charm of the area. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently near many key attractions, which made getting around and exploring the area quite easy. One big plus: the staff went above and beyond for us when we had multiple packages arriving from Taobao — helping us coordinate deliveries and pick-ups smoothly. That extra support was really appreciated and speaks to their thoughtful service. A minor downside: the TV in the room didn’t work initially and took a bit of troubleshooting on our own to figure out a fix. The only real disappointment was with the in-house photography experience. While the photographer was skilled and we enjoyed the complimentary 3-photo package, the editor’s attitude left a bad impression. She was impatient and didn’t give us space to decide which photos we wanted to keep or buy. I’d suggest just enjoying the 3 free photos and skipping the upsell unless you really want more. Overall, a solid stay in Yangshuo with great service, beautiful views, and thoughtful touches — just a few things to note depending on what you value during your trip.

A Serene Retreat Amidst Nature's Splendor Our recent stay at the Yishan Yunshui Hotel in Yangshuo was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled within the picturesque Shili Gallery scenic area, the hotel offers unparalleled views of the Yulong River and the surrounding karst mountains. Waking up to the misty peaks and serene river landscapes was a daily delight. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel manager, who graciously offered us a complimentary upgrade to one of their exquisite suites. The suite was a harmonious blend of modern comfort and traditional Chinese aesthetics, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the stunning natural scenery. The spacious layout, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities, including a private balcony, enhanced our stay immensely. What truly set our experience apart was the attentive and personalized service. The manager maintained regular communication to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality made us feel valued and well-cared for. In conclusion, our stay at the Yishan Yunshui Hotel was a perfect blend of natural beauty, luxurious comfort, and exceptional service. Certainly, we’ll come back.

The hotel was situation in the most scenic spot in Yangshuo. The staff are really caring and attentive. I didn’t have a local phone number and we communicated throughout using Wechat which worked perfectly. The noodles at breakfast was superb! They delivered daily fruits and night time dessert to our room. Plenty of water and drinks in the room. The 30 minute free photography session was great. The photographer was XiaoMo 小莫。 The 管家 Service was so attentive. 小顾Lynn and 覃西西Xixi thank you for making our stay amazing. We didn’t try their afternoon tea since we were out. The view from the room is unbeatable. We stayed in Block 8. Hotel transfer and pick to West Street was also very helpful.

Location is great and the room was spacious. Even though the west market was just downstairs and the room was still quiet. The breakfast was just normal. The hotel staff at the reception can speak English so it certainly help for English speaking visitors Cons : The breakfast area needs to be cooler - seems air cond was not turned on

I booked a room with mountain view. What I got is this room on the second floor with view on the street and trees :( It didn't look like any of the rooms in the pictures shown on Trip.com. Not only was the view bad, it was often loud because of the Instagram café across the street. I also had zero privacy on the balcony as the hundreds of roadside tourists on their scooters frequently take pictures of the house and garden. Keep in mind that mass tourism has arrived in Yulong River area, so it is no longer quiet there. What I also didn't like is that the receptionist smoked under my balcony. It is true that the receptionists speak very good English. But then again, I was not even shown the rooftop terrace that they apparently have, nor was I told about breakfast options. They also have no WeChat contact, which is standard for other hotels. What really shocked is that they tried to charge me 30 RMB for one of their old bikes that I wanted to use in the afternoon for 2 hours. I couldn't believe my ears. As incredibly beautiful as the hotel is, and yes, my room was huge and I am thankful for the tip to visit beautiful Fuli bridge, I feel ripped off for paying so much for a room with no view. It is just not what I booked.

Huge shout-out to the staff for taking care of me while I suffered through a bout of food poisoning (not related to the hotel). They helped take me to the hospital in the middle of the night, brought me congee, and generally checked in on me to ensure my well being. While the location is a little far from west street, it's quiet and close to Yulong He which is lovely and the views can't be beat. The renovations have seen some wear and tear but I'm told the owner is in the process of rejuvenating them. All in all it was a lovely peaceful stay despite my mishap.

Great hotel! I got a room on the fifth floor with great view and balcony. The breakfast had Chinese and Western options, and fresh fruits. Enjoyed my stay here. Location is good, it is easy and fast to grab didi wherever you are planning to go. The host is very kind and helped my to plan and book different activities. The rooms are spacious and they clean them everyday. Best place to relax.

A must go if you love relaxing and travelling. The food quality is spot on and the staff is so nice and helpful when you need help. A great place for little ones as well, with a ball pit and a water slide for them to enjoy! With great technology, there is an AI bot in the hotel room to help you to do things like open the curtain or turn off the lights, as well as telling you information about the place. It can even play music of your choice! A perfect place if looking for the best accomodation in town!

I highly recommend this place. The first night I stayed near West Street, it was a mess and there wasn't much to visit. We came here the next day. The environment was large, quiet and comfortable. The proprietress was warm and thoughtful, and the rice noodles for breakfast were top-notch. Northeastern dumplings are so delicious. The room is very clean and more comfortable than a hotel. You can sit on the balcony and look at the mountains. You can go out to the Yulong River, where you can play on bamboo rafts and by the water. There is also a check-in point in the Ten-Li Gallery. It is very suitable for bringing children here. Next time I bring my children here, I will only stay here. It is really a place you don't want to leave once you stay here.
