Yangshuo Yuyuan Resort （Shili Gallery &Yulong River）

We chose Yuyuan Jingshe for our family trip, and the experience exceeded our expectations! I stalked the booking page for a long time before finally snagging this view twin room!!! With a wide and open field of vision, you can see the stunning landscape of the Yulong River the moment you push open the window. The hotel facilities are very family-friendly, featuring a large lawn and a swimming pool where kids can play freely. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. The overall environment is quiet and serene, right outside the door is the Shili Gallery (Ten-Mile Gallery), so there's no need to rush around looking for attractions. It makes a family vacation totally hassle-free. We will definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Yangshuo.

I spent 5 days traveling in Yangshuo and compared several family-friendly hotels. This hotel definitely stands out for its extensive range of parent-child facilities. It's truly commendable! I particularly appreciate that every building, regardless of its number, has an indoor children's playground downstairs. That's a huge plus! The variety of activities for children is fantastic. In the mornings, you can even watch the cormorant fishing show for free right at the hotel. The old cormorant fisherman is quite a character, very humorous and entertaining, keeping the kids laughing throughout the entire show. I stayed in Building 2, and my room offered a direct view of the stunning landscape, like a living traditional Chinese painting. What I really love about this hotel is that you can see bamboo rafts from the lawn – it's truly beautiful! They also have a petting zoo where you can feed rabbits, deer, ducks, and sheep. Compared to other hotels, I have to praise the staff here; they all greet children with such warm smiles. The afternoon DIY straw hat making activity also showed their great patience with the kids. Next time I visit Yangshuo, I will definitely book this hotel again!

The room was clean and hygienic, and the natural environment was beautiful. There are plenty of family-friendly activities, as well as a kids' club. The only downside is that game tokens are only provided once per stay even for a two-night booking; it would be great if they could give out a bit more.

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

Highly recommended, perfect for traveling with kids! The room is super spacious and fully smart-automated, making the stay very comfortable and convenient. There is a huge green garden where children can run around freely. The buffet breakfast included with the room was amazing—truly on par with a five-star hotel's breakfast buffet, and we left every meal completely full. There are also three outdoor swimming pools, and the kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The staff were all super friendly, making us feel right at home. It was a very comfortable and satisfying experience, and we will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

The room layout is quite nice. Given it's the off-season, the value for money is really high. The view outside the window varies depending on the room type. We brought our little one and since it was their birthday, they helped thoughtfully decorate with balloons, which was super nice! I originally just asked for an extra toothbrush, but the butler went above and beyond and also brought over children's slippers.

The hotel scenery is truly stunning, right by the Yulong River with cormorant fishing shows and a swimming pool. Buildings No. 6 and No. 4 offer great spots to watch the sunset and sunrise respectively, and the rooftop of Building No. 6 has a more expansive view. The room itself was just average; the main highlight is the wonderful balcony view. The service was warm and attentive—when opening the window let in a lot of small bugs, staff came right away to switch us to a new room. Overall, pretty satisfied. It's also fair that the rooms with a view and those without river views have basically the same amenities.

There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways and elevators, but everything else was great. The service was attentive, and customer support responded promptly. There are plenty of diverse activities available, especially feeding the little lambs, rabbits, and deer; however, the provided animal feed was a bit too little and not enough for all of them.

This is a pretty good hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the environment is very quiet. We traveled with our parents, and they all gave it a thumbs-up. The service here is warm, attentive, and thorough. Located in the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, it's very convenient to rent an electric scooter right outside the entrance if you want to go out and explore. The hotel features a lawn, a swimming pool, and cormorant fishing performances. If you're traveling with kids, they can also interact with animals. The hotel included a complimentary travel photography session, which we had our parents try out, and they were so happy. Highly recommended!
