"Our stay at Serenity was perfect. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. It is located in a rural area, surrounded by astonishing views. Great for a relaxing experience and to see the rural life in the area. The hotel is close to interest points such as the walking path along the river or the moon hill hiking scenery spot. The host was super kind and caring, and made our stay very easy (she speaks English). The food was very good and homemade. We felt so good at the Serenity hotel that we ended up changing our itinerary and staying for longer time. 100% recommended!"

However, the western food needs improvement, the pasta was really oily, the burger was overcooked and dry. Also, the noise level from trucks on the main road can be heard in the bedrooms. "The most satisfying hotel on this trip. This time I came to Guilin with my family. We stayed in Guilin for 3 days in total. Our whole family was very satisfied with this hotel. The hotel is in a good location with beautiful scenery. It is less than 200 meters away from the Li River and not far from the bustling West Street. Looking at each other across the Li River, blocking out the hustle and bustle of the city, the room was very quiet and I had a good night's sleep. The lady at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, she took the trouble to answer questions, and the service was very attentive. She recommended us all kinds of fun and delicious food, and helped us book attraction tickets at very discounted prices. It was very convenient for us to have fun. "I drove to Yangshuo with my good friend. There was no strategy or plan. I stayed wherever I felt fun. When I came to the sickle bay of Lijiang River, I fell in love with Shanshui Yao at first sight. When we heard that we could pick up fossils hundreds of millions of years ago if we were lucky, my good brother and I immediately became interested. After we were ready, the hotel housekeeper would take us to the hiking point by shuttle bus, and then the geological research began. Along the way, Sister Zhou explained to us the causes and evolution of karst landforms, telling us that this is a bryozoan fossil, that is a stromatoporoid, that is a lichen, and so on! Suddenly, I felt that the abstract nouns in the textbook became vivid. Along the way, in addition to seeing fossils from hundreds of millions of years ago, we also saw beautiful landscapes.
