"We had a pleasant stay at Tasman Holiday Park. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a short stay. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the check-in process smooth. One thing to take note of is that the reception closes after 5pm. If you expect to arrive later, be sure to make the necessary arrangements with the park in advance. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Would happily recommend it for a short getaway!"

"Quiet and secluded location in forest, very private and peaceful. We booked the 2 bedroom chalet for 3 nights. Nearest town is about 6-8mins drive away, not too far, but the drive is a tad scary in the dark (which is quite early this time of year). Very roomy, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, though there were no basics (such as oil/salt/pepper), though there was a small pack of milk provided. Coffee powder provided, but no coffee press. Very strong stable wifi , no password needed, which was awesome. You can login to your netflix account on the smart tv. Washing machine is outside in a separate room, which is not very convenient to get to in the winter cold (and at night). No dryer, so need to wrangle with the clothes line and there's very few clothes pegs provided. Need to clear trash which you need to drive out to, not very convenient. There's a pool and small playground (with a trampoline) Overall, we loved the stay, for its privacy and closeness to nature, but be prepared with food/amenities else you'd be stuck in the middle of nowhere. Bar soap, shampoo, conditioner provided, and there's a bathtub. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which is good. Strong heating from the main heater in the living room, which was a nice surprise We saw kangaroos (regularly at a clearing on the drive out), a bunny once when we first arrived, and had frequent visits from a kookaburra, which was lovely."

"The room we booked was very spacious and had a kitchen. There was a big tree at the door. We had breakfast under it and many birds flew over to cheer us up. It was an interesting experience. The whole hotel was more like a big manor with enough space for walking. We encountered sheepdogs, wild rabbits, lizards, parrots, etc. The ecological environment was unbeatable."

"I offered to write my review to the owner but was not given access to their email upon request. This lodge is tired and needs some TLC. From the signs at the bottom of the drive one can see already the caliber of the accommodation. Both garden beds in front of the signs are unkempt and full of weeds. There is an old caravan parked in the field to the right and old unused garden boxes to the left. The smell at the bottom of the driveway is not pleasant, like sewage. I asked to see the room on arrival but was refused until full payment was made. The room was dark and uninviting. The windows are high and the door is frosted so you cannot see out into the trees without sitting on the balcony. I was informed that the spa was filled and hot for our arrival and that there was a barbecue and microwave outside and that was the only information received. We were told to ask questions if there was anything else we wanted to know. The first thing I did was to empty the kettle to boil water for tea. I was surprised that the kettle was full and on pouring the contents out I discovered that it was full of coffee that someone had made in the kettle. I did not feel like using it for tea after that. We went into town to eat an early dinner and when we returned, we discovered that the spa was now lukewarm. There is no way of reheating it except by a loose tap fitting, an impossible task for the amount of water. If we had been told that this was the only way to heat it we might have used it sooner. The spa is also old and tired and not inviting. Later I went to use the microwave, it was dirty and smelt and I could not use it. The management was only there till 4 after which we discovered that the heater didn’t work, it worked for 10 minutes then stopped. At this point we looked for some help and a kind lady who works at the OM spa came and helped us with the heater and finding a replacement kettle for us. The heater worked for 10 minutes and stopped again, so no cosy glow, just the aircon to heat the room. There is no top sheet on the bed that one might expect in a luxury retreat and there was only one bedside lamp. Both the bedside tables and outside table needed cleaning. There is no water in the fridge except for expensive bottled water and breakfast is extra. Needless to say we left the next morning as soon as we got up. We requested a refund but this was refused. We were refunded for the spa treatment that I didn’t have and I cannot comment on the spa as I did not go in there. What was supposed to be a luxury break for our anniversary left us sorely disappointed and ripped off."

"We took one of their luxury relaxation packages in a studio villa - it was so worth the price. Located off Caves Road, just after the Yallingup Beach turn-off, on Marrinup Drive. the villas are at the back of the Studio Gallery / Art Gallery. We booked one of the luxury relaxation packages (which includes a 90min massage, breakfast hamper, gourmet hamper, and a chilled bottle of wine). The villa was so spacious and well laid out. The centrepiece of the room was a giant king-sized bed, which looked out through a series of glass bi-fold doors onto a private grassed landscaped garden. The high gabled ceilings and use of natural materials make you feel that you are in a luxury suite. The large ensuite has a huge spa bath (room for two) and a separate double shower. The villa comes complete with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, plunger coffee and tea facilities, wide screen TV, sound system, DVD, beach towels and bath robes. Everything that you would expect in a high-end hotel room. Whilst the studio villas (one bedroom), are adjacent to deluxe villa (2 bedroom) they were sufficiently separated to ensure that there is no impact. Though we were lucky that the adjoining villa was vacant for our entire stay. The hampers were briming with local produce and was perfect for our stay. The two ladies that came to the villa and gave us our massages made us feel like we were in southeast Asia but without the language barrier. I cannot recommend Yallingup Villas highly enough - it was the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from busy bustling Perth. "

"Stayed for 2 nights in April 2024 at Sienna Lodge. Two couples with a room each. Location was great just up the road from Smiths beach and Canal Rocks. We had the rooms at the rear of the property overlooking the gardens. Checking in was very smooth and the owners were a pleasure to speak to. Rooms were both a good size with big comfortable beds. All facilities were exceptional, and the room was very clean. Good pressure in the shower. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights and will definitely visit again."
