X-rays showed minor injuries to my left foot and head, but a comminuted fracture of my right big toe. I returned to my room around 5 PM. After returning, the general manager's assistant added me on WeChat, saying I could call the hotel front desk for help if needed. I mentioned that it was inconvenient to use the toilet at night and asked them to buy me a crutch. They said they didn't have any nearby, as the hotel was far from the city center. After repeated requests and negotiations, they finally bought one around 9 PM. Around 6 PM that afternoon, we made two requests regarding this accident: first, to arrange a driver to take us back to Bao'an District, Shenzhen (210 km), as we couldn't drive; second, to buy an electric wheelchair for me to use back in Shenzhen, costing around 3,000 yuan. After my cast was removed, I returned the wheelchair to the hotel. The hotel wasn't responsible for any follow-up treatment, including hiring a caregiver. But this morning, the hotel staff said the general manager wouldn't agree to either of our requests, and that we, as adults, had to take responsibility. How am I supposed to get back to Bao'an? They don't care; they just said the insurance company would contact us, and then nobody paid any attention to us. Is there any hotel this inhumane?
