Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel, stayed in a spiral room which was very comfortable. Some nice touches in room including great choice of tea/ coffee and some sweets to munch on. Spa really good and not so busy. We ate in the palm restaurant and had carvery which was amazing and reasonably priced. Free car parking although very busy on the Sunday due to wedding and Sunday roast guests. We will be back as staff were amazing and overall experience was superb."
Wrexham Llyndir Hotel by Belvilla
"We didn't stay here in the end, despite booking it, and feel very unhappy about the process (review ratings above put in so I could submit the commentary below). I was in a rush, my first time using the Trip App, and there was a very cheap room only deal for this Hotel, which showed 4 stars on the Trip site. We really only needed a room for the night whilst collecting a car so I wasn't as diligent as I would normally be. We expected to arrive late, so I tried to call to notify staff and ensure we could still check in. I called the number shown but it was clearly a multi-chain customer service site and they didn't recognise either the hotel or my booking reference. I googled to find a direct number, to no avail. I then checked Tripadvisor and noticed the recent reviews were terrible. In short, this is a run-down former hotel (that had good reviews pre-covid) that was closed for some time, and has been re-opened on a "remote-managed basis" - lots of very unhappy customers, but even the Tripadvisor review hasn't yet been dragged down by the current performance. Unfortunately the "cheap" price was attached to a no-cancel policy so I was unable to cancel the booking even a few minutes after making it. We chose to stay somewhere else, and they very kindly sorted us out at a good price. I understand I am partly culpable because of a lack of due diligence, however the manner of scalping a quick booking through a cheap price and then refusing any cancellation leaves a very bitter feeling from a customer service point of view. I would hope Trip would be better than this."
Wynnstay Arms, Wrexham by Marston's Inns
"Always love to stay here, convenient and good service"
Moreton Park Hotel
"Stayed in a family room which had an upstairs kids found that great. If travelling woth little ones there is no safety feature on the stairs. We requested on childs bed to be made up when we arrived no childs bed. Went to reception, they helped us get the bed out and provided bedding set, then we had to make the bed ourselves. We had breakfast quality of the food was great and very tasty. Unfortunately the brealfast room its self was very cold. Room was also cold in spite of the heating being on. No blackout curtains either so lots of light coming in. Room very spacious. Bed and pillows her comfortable. Room was ok, hotel a little dates and tired. Overall not put off staying again other than the price, not really worth the higher price."
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Wrexham
"Overall, a fantastic stay. A few things needed repair or were a bit shoddy but great location within walking distance to the Cae Ras and downtown Wrexham. Very welcoming and friendly stay."
Wrexham North (A483)
"rooms were comfy and clean. staff were very welcoming and attentive. we booked a table for our meals in advance , which we are glad we did as they looked very busy"
Travelodge Wrexham Hotel
"Ideal location for onward travel or driving into Wrexham or on to Chester and price great. Just needs to be updated and refreshed as the rooms and beds are a little tired."
Hotel Wrexham
"Really enjoyed our stay at hotel Wrexham. The breakfast was great and the staff very welcoming. The decor looked beautiful, and the lights around the bar were perfect. We are looking forward to our next stay, hopefully in the not too distant future."
Wrexham Town Centre
"Located in the heart of Wrexham a stones throw from the Wrexham football stadium. We was worried about outside noise disturbing our sleep as the main road and a railway line are very close. To our surprise though the noise levels were not too bad. The only issue was the heating vent that did carry internal noise from somewhere at odd times. Parking is NOT free. That is a separate fee. I don't know if on match days they enforce any parking zone for hotel customers or if it is a free for all. The restaurant and book in staff were all very helpful and polite. Both the breakfast and evening meals were well priced and nice. The room was clean and odour free. We have stayed there twice now when visiting events in Wrexham. Finding its central location and facilities more than adequate."
