"What an amazing place this was, just the perfect escape retreat my husband and I needed, this place is so beautiful, surrounded by such vibrant colour of flowers and trees, the bures here are so lovely and clean, the pool is great and the food is delicious. Thankyou so much to Jenny and her staff, they were very courteous and hospitable, their service is amazing, they always go out of their way to make sure the guests are comfortable and relaxed, I highly recommend the Fiji Orchid to everyone, if you are looking for peace and serenity , this is the place to go. Big shoutout to Reuben Debbie Lau and Echa, they were truly amazing, always made sure we weee ok, they were definitely service at its best, thankyou again for making our stay an enjoyable and relaxed experience, we will definitely be back, oh and Jenny, you should be so proud of yourself and your staff, you all do such a great job in maintaining your hotel and guests, Thankyou, Vinaka.❤️"

"We arrived earlier than check in time with hopes of getting the ability to check in.  Unfortunately that wasn’t possible so we waited in the lobby area.   Once checked in to our room we were satisfied with the accommodations…until the insects showed up.   My spouse is very allergic to mosquito stings and unfortunately was the recipient of many.   All of that aside-we tried to enjoy ourselves.   We did until senor mouse showed up, or should I say senor mouse and family.   There were many.    Still, we wanted to unwind, relax and forget all of that.   We had an extremely early flight out of the country and needed a 4am pick up.  The front desk clerk assured us that was not a problem.   She wrote it in the book!   We checked twice again the night before and she repeatedly guaranteed a prompt 4am pick up.   The morning of our flight  came and we went to the front area as directed for pick up by 3:50am.   There was a security person in the hut.  He told us the taxi was on the way.   We waited (with the mosquitoes) quietly….and waited.   4:10am no cab.   We we’re getting nervous and asked the guard to check please.   Next a staff worker came out and told us “on the way.”   He asked what room we were in.   He left at that point only to double check our room for any possible issues they could charge us for.   Minutes turned into almost an hour.  We we’re getting frantic with thoughts of missing our international flight.   No taxi…no taxi.    Finally the same staff member came out and sat in the hotel van for several minutes with us asking for him to please take us the several miles to the airport.  At last he started the engine and came to pick us up.  The van did not have working seatbelts which added to our mounting anxiety-but we were on our way at last.    He had the van’s air conditioning at full blast blowing directly on our heads.  I asked if he could turn it off or down.   No reply.   We arrived at the airport at which time he asked for double the amount of money we first gave him.  We paid and just made it in time for our flight."
