Chalet Kilauea
"The location is very good, located in a small village5-6 kilometers away from the Volcano National Park, convenient for multiple access to and from the Volcano Park. The environment is very good, there is a cabin with 6-7 rooms, the room decoration is very characteristic, the bath water is very flush, free parking. Complete self-check-in, check-out, no staff. This season, it was quite cold at night, there were more quilts, the heater was a bit noisy, and there was an atmosphere light, which could not be turned on when sleeping."
Volcano Forest Inn
"One bed faces the door, and the other faces a mirror; it's a bit creepy at night. Also, the hotel's entrance is hard to spot at night. There's just a quiet courtyard outside. The location is good, close to the volcano."
Volcano Village Estates
"The hotel is located two kilometers away from the Big Island Volcano Park in Hawaii. It is time to go to the Volcano Park to see the eruption. The hotel is very beautiful and actually stays in the tropical rain forest. The price of the three-person suite is very suitable, the room is very cost-effective, but the breakfast is more sloppy, breakfast without tax 15 knives per person, there is a quick-frozen pancake and a little fruit, it is recommended not to book breakfast, others are quite satisfactory."
Aloha Crater Lodge
"The room was beautiful and well-designed. The host was very nice, and it felt like staying in a rainforest. Highly recommended."
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant
"Love the location, a nice restaurant, good food, large portions but a bit salty."
Volcano Village Lodge
"The location is fantastic and beautiful. The cabins are very charming & Romantic. The staff is super kind and responsive, even if the main office is closed for the evening. The smaller cabin is truly best fitted for a couple, as the single futon bed is pretty small, but can still accommodate a teen or shorter adult in a pinch. Heating the provided breakfasts in the microwave was a bit challenging since plates, while very nice, are too big & square to rotate inside the small microwave provided. We did not used the hot-tub. We did not use the Wi-fi (too slow) and AT&T wireless was 1-2 bars. Sometimes worked great, other times the reception was not enough. AT&T wireless is strong in other parts of Volcano Village and the more populous parts of the National park."
