Quality Inn Ukiah

This economy property is fairly well maintained. I had no issue with the room cleanliness and overall it appear the property has recently been remodeled to an extent. The staff were all excellent and helpful. They do offer the typical economy/budget hotel breakfast, though I didn’t partake. Overall, yes a good stay. I would probably stay here again if I am in Ukiah.

We happened upon this hotel after a long day searching in another city here there were no vacancies. We got the last two rooms, and the staff at check in (sorry I don’t remember her name) was so accommodating. It was late so she offered a late check out the next day. The next morning the staff was also great -they changed the charges to a different card for me and gave us great info about the area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Hampton Inn Ukiah

A welcoming hotel that is easy to find and close to many restaurants, gas stations and stores one might need while traveling through as we did. Originally I secured a reservation for Sunday night which was price competitive but our plans changed so I switched to Saturday night: a lot more expensive and the only room available was a King. I took it and we enjoyed the amenities it offered; it was a huge room with a fireplace! Double sinks (one in the shower/toilet area) and one outside it with a coffee machine is practical and makes getting ready a breeze. The room had a door that opened onto a small balcony. The buffet breakfast looked fairly usual but there were crowds there and many offerings were low so we went to the nearby Schat's bakery to eat. The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly. I didn't mind parting with my hard earned dollars.

We stayed a few weeks ago. The room had been refreshed more recently the one we stayed in at this hotel earlier in January. The baseboards were nice in this room! Two things: The bill had a small property fee (less than $2, if I recall) that I do not recall being disclosed. This would not have been an issue, except for the next issue; Very dirty floor. We were traveling with our two small chihuahua mixes. One of them bumped the water bowl, and I used one of my ‘dog towels’ I try to always have and sopped up the water. Then I realized just how dirty the floor was! The small rag/towel is mine … the other is the bath mat used to sop up water on the bathroom floor. I realize in these times, good help is hard to find and keep. But when you have hard-surface flooring, it really needs to be clean. And I would not be posting this here on TripAdvisor, except they ignored my e-mail questioning the fee, and informing them of how dirty the floor was (is?). That said, the bed was comfortable, the linens acceptable. The WiFi was exceptional when we were there.
