Whether it was our daily breakfast service, ensuring our comfort throughout the day, or even arranging an incredibly romantic proposal setup, she attended to every detail with remarkable diligence and warmth. Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty. I travelled to Mauritius for business in both Feb and March 2020, staying at Villa Anakao for 5 nights and 3 nights respectively. This is an excellent option if you are looking for a quiet, laid back retreat away from the flashy resorts and built-up areas such as Port Louis. As mentioned in previous reviews, staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. The food is excellent, home-cooked Mauritian dishes each night served outside in a covered eating area by the pool. Breakfast is also good, with eggs cooked to order and fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. As a business traveller I was away for most of the day but it was great to come back in the evening, sit on the verandah with a couple of beers and enjoy a traditional Mauritian dinner each night. For those on holiday, the pool area is simple but clean and well-maintained, and there is a beach a couple of minutes’ walk away. Just to note, I would highly recommend hiring a car if staying here - there aren’t really any shops or restaurants within walking distance and although public buses are frequent, you will have a lot more freedom with a car. Driving in Mauritius is easy, hiring a car is inexpensive and there is secure parking on the premises.

Amazing little place! Yanish and the colleagues on front of house were very welcoming and helpful during all of our stay, every interaction we had with them was positive. The room was very spacious, the shower was absolutely huge, and the varanda facing the pool area was great. The facilities were very clean, rooms and communal areas always spot on. We got our stay with breakfast included and it was delicious, both options (continental and english) were tasty and good size for a plated meal. Team working in the restaurant was efficient and welcoming, ensuring the food got to us straight from the kitchen. Beach right in front of the hotel is a bit rocky, but if you walk less than 1 minute you have a perfect spot. Amazing place, highly recommend it. Just a few suggestions: The place the bed frame as it wasn't in a good shape Extractor fan in the toilet not working properly Softer shower towels (the ones for the pool were super soft, but for the shower weren't)

We were super happy with our choice and had a magnificent stay. The compound is more like a village and the traditional houses amidst the tropical garden combined with lots of natural material and modern design give it a calming, laid back and yet luxurious vibe. The staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. For a while you can almost feel like part of a mauritian family ... The garden is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, simple but tasteful. Everything is kept very clean and neat. We can especially recommend the mauritian a la carte restaurant (which is included) that highlights mauritian cuisine in a modern, classy way. The cocktails are great (wines not so much though), the coffee was good (!) and the offer at the restaurant is more than enough and various. We really liked all those ”little” extras like the (drinking)water fountains spread across the compound, the tea bar, the also free possibilities to rent kayaks or pedalos and go on a boat trip to go snorkeling or swimming in the lagoon. That was great! They also really try to make an effort sustainability-wise like instead of using sugar and cream in single packages it comes in jars and jugs and also in the room you get a lovely tray with little glass jars filled with coffee and tea. Super cute! The little boutique sells a well chosen variety of local and sustainable souvenirs and even considering the entertainment they are keeping it local and support not only local culture but well chosen artists. We felt close to mauritian culture, well looked after and basked in the tasteful ambiance! It was magnifique. Merci a tous

This is a celebrity hotel, which is much more beautiful than the residence we used to live in. Not that the residence is not beautiful, but that it is too beautiful. It is said that the beauty of the sea on the east coast of Belle Mare is not bad here. The hotel covers a relatively large area and is full of beautiful views. The breakfast was great, with lots of choices and Chinese food. The juice is all freshly squeezed and there are many varieties. The first time I drank freshly squeezed passion fruit. Dinner is expensive and too personal. Bodrum blue, for example, specializes in Turkish meals. Recommended scenery, not recommended food. Another example is inti, which specializes in Peruvian cuisine and recommends service. When we went, because we were unfamiliar with the dishes, we ordered less, so the waiter gave us three dishes. The taste can only be considered unpalatable. Water sports are also free.
